When I try to launch the game steam try’s to open ea app then the the game never launches it’s does this over and over again

Mine still says "requires elevated privileges" even though I run it as admin. How do I fix?

Everytime I try and Launch the game with Frosty the EA launcher comes up and it prevents me from activating it. How do I get around this issue?

Og xbox bf2 guy, just switched to pc and wanted stuff like, revenge as kylo or jango fett as boba fett, did all your steps but still doesn't put them on the game, tried jango mod and it says: this mod may not be compatable with your game or something, I press ok and then launch and it loads up my EA app and then I press launch bf2, loads up and nothings changed, you've probably had alot if questions as you make it look so easy

i did this and it worked but the next day i tried to open up frosty mod manager and it did not open and idk what to do can someone help

for me it says catastrophic failure i have no idea why

Doesn’t work… i try to put the battlefront 2 file into frosty mode manager and it said “STAR WARS Battlefront 2 Catastrophic failure

1:40 there’s no elaboration here. It says “we wanna find this” and it just appears out of thin air no explanation of how we can find “this” I cannot do this step bc I’m have no clue how.

I really hope you're still answering questions, when I try to launch the game I get an error that reads, "One or more symbolic links cold not be created, please restart tool as Administrator and ensure your storage drive is formatted to NTFS. That all seems very confusing

I tried but it says that the "access to the path" was denied, any help?

Only problem I’m having is I download for example Star Wars battlefront plus it will work for a little bit. Then the characters will go invisible. If I try to exit the game it’ll crash or sometimes the game just crashes. I have a 4090.

It really depends on what the mod actually is, as there are 100s on Nexus that are unusable now due to the game being updated since they came out

You need some invisibility fix for it, idk where to find it but it showed uyp for me on the other mods required pop up

When I tried launching the game with mods my computer had to restart does anyone know why?

Does it work even if I didn’t bought it on steam ? I got it on epic and it starts thru ea app. However I tried to install damaged Vader mod and for some reason the game will load but I can’t go online and I don’t have the mod in game Vader looks completely normal …. What am I doing wrong ???

This can be because the mod you’ve installed doesn’t work with the up to date version of the game, or some mods don’t work together, it’s very confusing sometimes!

Yeah, Does not work. Followed the instructions but it gives me an error message and nothing happens. Game doesn't even launch. Is there an alternative way you have to do this if you're using the EA launcher?

It depends on what mod you’re trying to install as some on nexus don’t work due to not being updated with the game. Which one did you use? Can you link it?

Hi! It's an app on the Microsoft store, called "X Live Wallpaper". There are loads of Star Wars ones on there!

It's dependant on the mod itself, unfortunately if it is out of date then it won't be usable. You can tell if it's in date if the latest version of the mod is from 2020 onwards. Lmk if you need any further tips!

You can play online with the mods as they only show do you, for example you’ll see yourself as ahsoka and everyone else sees you as rey. You have to launch the game through frosty to make it all work

i download the battlefront expanded v5 mod and battlefront expanded kit limitations and for some reason when i try to launch the game through frosty it just says handheld error and takes me to my home screen, can someone help with this?

It is strange you can get it from steam but you’ll have to still link your steam account and ea account. Get it now it’s on a big offer!!

When I click on launch to start the game I don’t get a launching prompt. Instead of a loading bar to wait for it just doesn’t launch the game at all. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve followed all instructions to the T just not sure why the game itself won’t start up ?

I had this issue, and noticed that you have to have the game page open ready to launch in your steam/EA library. When you click launch in frosty it should work!

I cant seem to get it to launch with the games xD. Do i need to run with the ea launcher instead?

Sometimes it won’t open because a series of mods don’t work together crashing the game, and there are some mods that are outdated so they just cannot be played at all sadly!

@@hamsanner I tried changing the ahsoka mode with one from this week, but it still gives me that error when trying to launch it from frostymode manager. Make sure the window is there on your screen to where you can open the game and then launch from frosty. I had it when the steam page wasn’t open the game wouldn’t open

Mostly all of them are MP safe. But just double check you can see if they are by reading the mod’s description and the comments tab on it

The endless loading screen is when you have an outdated mod, sadly some mods aren’t being updated anymore so don’t work with the lates version of the game

Not easy for me I download it and the game crashes every time I play the mods even when using frosty fix it still crashes

It crashes if the mod is out of date, unfortunately some don’t work if they aren’t at the same patch as the latest patch of the game

Is it normal that it takes mods to download "hours" and no I am not kidding, even right now while I am typing this comment it's still downloading my mods (downloaded over somewhere around 30 or 25) Edited And I ment in game, I am just having a in-game loading screen and it's been going like this already again for actual hours.

Sometimes that can happen when you have an endless loading screen... unfortunately it's because the mod isn't supported for the latest patch of the game, meaning it wont work :( I have loads I wanna use but I can't because of this

The mods are a complete waste of time frosty mod manager won’t even even load up the game and the game crashes and the mods I used where up to date and even using frosty fix doesn’t even work

I have only ever had issues with frosty not loading when the mod is out of date. I have had a lot of fun using mods!
