Good move putting the fan in - I often wondered about welding and engine fumes when watching your video's, but I imagined the doors and windows were open - obviously not. Would I be right in thinking your wife didn't know that - I've had my ear bent a few times. You are fortunate you twigged it before something worse happened. I guess we all run stuff thinking 'ah, it'll be fine for a couple of minutes' - which turns into far longer with a tweak here and adjustment there. This video is a good reminder that we need clean air to breath and not take risks with our health. Good health to you and thanks for the honesty and sharing.

Nice addition to the shop. Sure beats opening the garage door this time of year in NewEngland. Have to give that some though.Stay safe.

My shed is enclosed but just barely. No danger of anything staying inside including cats, dogs and some elephants. Has one window with a belt drive 13 inch squirrel cage fan in it for a stiff breeze when needed. No heat. That's what the house is for. I farm my welding out and everything else now. Have a small heater to keep the batteries on the zero turn from freezing and that's it. Set at 40 so that ought to work. DeWalt says so. Craftsman won't tell you because they don't know about that rig. Nether does MTD. Happy winter and God Bless!

I hear ya, can't beat a good blower, they do really good. I heard that, that is a good idea, I bring all my mower batteries inside, store in ammo boxes during the winter in the heated garage. Thanks for Watching!!!

When you weld galvanized, it produces zinc and lead fumes. Be safe!

Yeah, I try to remove as much as a ican before, but you never can quite get it all, and a pipe like that will give off fumes from inside too. Thanks for Watching!!!

2 questions ! How much CFM ? How many sones does it have ? It does sound, pretty good. One word of advice, if you want to insulated it shut, for winter, do it from the outside. Another trick is, to built an insulated box (from the outside) so you can remove it when needed. Hooks and eyelids works well, for that application. Doing so, keeps all kinds of critters away, from building sh*t.

It is 1450CFM, I can't find a sones rating listed, all it says is 60db, not sure if that be converted or not! Its very quiet, much quieter then the 5kw electric ceiling heater, i will say that! That is a good idea, and I've thought of doing something like that and may do it at some point. Thanks for Watching!!!
