Installing Custom Seatbelts For My Brand New Toyota Supra!

👋 Today I show you how to remove the factory seatbelts form your A90 A91 Toyota Supra! I just bought this 2023 Manual Supra and i only have 300 miles on the clock! So naturally it's time to take out the seatbelts and ship them to Seatbelt Planet to get re-webbed in a custom Ruby Red color! I just love a splash of color in the interior of the Supra so this was a great time to replace the factory black belts with the red belts. Removing the seatbelt ratchet and strap assembly is pretty simple. Takes about 30 minutes. Just be gentle popping off the plastic panels to not brake any tabs. Then carefully unbolt the belt assembly and unplug each connection. After the belts are removed I packaged them p and shipped them to seatbelt Planet for them to re built them. They had a fast turn around time and shipped them back the day after receiving them! I went with basic ground shipping since I planned this project around me being away for a week. So once I got back home the belts arrived and I reinstalled them for a fantastic new look in my brand new Supra! Seatbelt Planet is actually a seatbelt manufacturer, so you can be assured these are the same quality and safety standards the OEM belts are. I love the new look with these seatbelts and it's a worth wild modification to do on any car to ad a custom touch to your interior!

I sold my R35 about a year ago and seriously missing it after driving a Tacoma for a year. Gonna pick up a 2021 A91 in refraction blue this weekend. You’ve inspired me to give a Supra a try.

Oh nice! I love my GTR for sure, it is for sale tho. Im having so much fun driving the Supra the GTR just isnt getting used. I've had it for so long it's just so normal to me lol. But these Surpass are epic!
I've been following and watching your videos since your MT supra. You have the best installation videos in my opinion. Particularly the camera angles.

Hello, I’m sorry for my dumb question but does the Supra have the auto seatbelt tightening when you fasten your seatbelt like in a modern BMW? I see the motor and the plug so I assume it does have that function. Thank you!

It does not! That feature is so annoying in other cars lol. But it just has the standard lock when you pull it hard

Nope. Everything worked fine. Worst case if you have BimmerCode. Just re code a feature and it'll reset the ECU and computers if you get any restraint warning that pops up
Camaros have red seat belt options too! Looks great on the Supra surprised they don’t have an option from factory
