nothing but straight gems. i feel highly motivated to build my own motor this winter. i’ve never felt comfortable to work on a motor in my life and never thought i would be. but after seeing you drop these gems aki for the past 3 years. i feel more comfortable and motivated to do it on my own. thank you again for being a light to most of us who get stuck and discourage to continue our build. god bless #keepgunnin 🔫

These were great videos and thanks for making them. I recently picked up a Honda Element and have been doing maintenance on it and am learning that the engines in them are like Small Block Chevy's. Easy to work on and insanely upgradeable. I'm "old school muscle" and haven't cracked an engine in about 25 years or so (just rudimentary parts here and there) due to getting married and having a kid, but I feel as if I've woken the sleeping giant and I'm consuming as much as I can about these K engines. My first Element I bought to use for work. I deliver brand new motorhomes from the manufacturers in northern Indiana to dealerships all over the country and I tow my Element behind so I just drive it back. I've only owned this car since the second week of August and bought it with 167k on the clock and it now has 187k and another 15k on the chassis (from being towed behind) I picked up another Element as a back up and that one has 260k on it. Both are 5 speeds and I'd like to get a hold of another engine, freshen it up and pop it in one of the cars. Then take that motor, really freshen it up with a bit of machine work and new pistons and then pop it back in, so I'll essentially have a brand new engine. As for the back up Element, I'd like to do a little more. Not sure as I'm new to the Japanese car mods, but it looks fairly easy to pull off and parts aren't too expensive. I'd also like to do a 6th gear mod for both so I can get better mpg's as I'm putting on at least 1000 miles a week on one of them. I split my time between the states and Guatemala and I'd like to take the back up one there. They don't have a lot of Elements there, but they do have a shitload of CRV's so parts aren't an issue. I also loved these videos because it reminded me of when I was younger and worked on cars with my friends and your attitude was like ours was. I said to myself, "This guy is from NY" and looking at the website, it appears you're in the Yonkers area. I was born in Brooklyn and we used to street race on "Fountain Ave" back on the day (technically Vandalia Ave) but today there's a Home Depot and housing there. It was a desolate street where we used to race and the mafia buried bodies. Anyway, thanks for making this video. My work car needs to have the valves done and I'm just waiting for the tools to arrive. I'm glad you showed that last as it got me to watch the entire 90 mins and I learned more in that time than any of the other videos I've watched. Shit, I even installed CashApp to send you a little bit of money. (I'm on disability so money is sorta tight, but the side gig allows me a little fun money. Being on disability is also the reason why I moved to Guatemala. I'm poor in the US, but rich down there and the people are great. I'd love to bring a car culture there but there isn't much of one where I live. ) Ok, I"m rambling. Thanks again for the info. Now I gotta get a hold of a spare motor. Let's see what kind of trouble I can create. lol

@@elementlove9074 Of course! I think I'm in three or four Element groups. Sadly I just had to junk my Element but I also picked up a second one. That one I put a JDM motor in and did the 6 speed upgrade. I'm going to drive it from Florida to Guatemala next week.
