Thank you for this tutorial! Very helpful! I decided to use symbolic links instead of copying the files over. This way I don't need to copy the files manually each time I install a mod.

Weird... I remember sometime ago I installed it just normally, this time around I had to copy from the lowercase activision folder to the original one. Anyway, thanks.

im on ubuntu 20.04.2 and when i launch waw, it doesnt open at all, any help would be appreciated

How did you access the windows file system? I only see Linux files. I have the game working through proton

can you make t4m work with linux as well?

What I tend to do with the exe file varations is just open them in an archive manager and plop them into the mods folder.

same dog been at this for 2 days now

Would anyone happen to have any idea why this game runs better when my laptop is using windows? It works perfectly fine on Windows but when I try to run the game on Linux and this goes for any Linux distribution it lags like crazy and the audio chops out and the game freezes randomly

That's a normal problem we Linux users play windows games at times, make sure proton is the newest version in Steam. I don't have any issue on my Manjaro laptop

i didnt know bunker was zombie map lol

cant find the activision folder im on a steam deck and I downloaded the game on a microsd

Not sure where off the top of my head but if I had to guess the SD card is likely mounted somewhere separate. Give /mnt/ a check.

my question is, how did you get WAW running on wine?

It just works for me with steam and proton

@@SyntheticEverything now there is a way where you just hit a button in steam settings and it lets you play all games with proton

Make sure your gpu supports vulkan
