I also had that problem, but in the end I used pin 9 which is for the parking sensor ... and now it comes to me automatically...success

I had mine hooked up like this too but it didnt work. After some experimenting I found its the Pink wire on my unit. The one in this video is a 7012b. The one I am hooking up is a 7018b probably why it was a different wire. There are gonna be some differances between models. Going over all the info you can find, google, etc and Videos like this is still a lot easier than stumbling around with a voltmeter and a 1.5volt battery like we had to do in the bad ol days.

I got the same one is pretty good for the price btw I only paid 30 for mine. Wires are label and unit has pin diagram it was easy install

Ok video. The brown wire on your harness is for swc steering wheel control.

That aux on back is for your microphone for Bluetooth set up sir. Hands free for your calls and voicecomand if irs ever added in an update

It should be a2 on most some of them I have seen are different.it is the bottom pin and also make sure your wire to your tail lights is hooked up and is getting power because that is what powers the camera on.

may be the orange and pink wires work the same way, when I wired up my backup camera I used the Pink wire and it works fine. that jack on the back is for a microphone, if you wanted to put a better one on it. its label on the wiring diagram in the user manual... youll need a magnifying glass to read it though.

I would like to ask what if i add a second camera to the front. Which wire, and which app setting do i click on to access the front camera when needed?

The green wire that you didn't know what it does is for illumination. If it "sees" 12v, the radio will dim to night mode. If it sees 0v, it will be max brightness. My instructions that I got in 2023 say that the pink wire is for parking sensor control. I don't know what that does.

how to take it out, any screws or just need to pry side tabs ?

I got one of these off of ebay, my wire colors were somewhat different in color then yours but what attaches to the A1-A8 locations are the same. Did you find out what A6 was for? Some documentation I have found shows it as ILL which I assume is illumination when you dim you console. I was glad to find your video it helped... Thanks!!

Sir I hav done the same thing you did. But it’s only showing as reversing on top left corner, where as no display is being shown. Would you be kind enough to let me know wat the problem would be in my case? My radio tape is same as yours

Great video. My question is what are you using the RCA red and white jacks for? For sub? If yes, Is there seperate controls for subwoofer in the stereo? Can i control my sub separately, independent from rear or front speakers?

Thank you and yes they are for my subs and the only control for them is base and treb .I have an potentiometer switch hooked to my amp via phone cable that I can control how much thump I have

The subs are on a total different circuit than the front and rear speakers

No I went directly into the vehicle harness . Then ran separate wires for external amp and subs

That is for a Mike for your hands free speaker

Use brake wire,pink to ground to play dvd while in motion

I got power going to mine it lights up the buttons but screen doesn’t come on

what are the position on the pins of the contant 12 volt, switch 12 volt and ground?

Hi there, do you know please why my unit beeps when I put the car in reverse but the image does not show up? If I change the function to aux using the second top-down button I can see the reverse camera but it does not show up automatically.

You do not have power ram to your camera it sounds like

For 7060b it's the corner that doesn't have a wire coming out

Idk if I got a short wire or what , I bought this for an 04 trailblazer that I am too to flip, and the wire does not seem to reach the back bu the license plate to mount the back up camera, any ideas ?!! Would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy longer cords and adapters that will make them longer it is 10 ft from radio to take lights on my truck and I had no problem I actually have some extra tied up have you tried routing it a different way?

fixin things and breakin things I’m routing it from the inside through the door pillar or carpet of the floor. Towards the left driver side. Once I get to the trunk it’s not enough cord. Didn’t think about buying extra didn’t want to go through the hassle. Thank you for that, I might just need to buy it though lol

hello, i got problem with the wiring, A2 connect to CAM IN no display on screen but if connect to AV IN is ok, the problem is I have to press AV IN on screen, it won't switch to camera automatic when reverse

Look for grey wire yours may not be in a2 position

The reverse connection is not written as reverse on these cheap cameras they are written as Back In so whichever is that one is the one you need to connect

I am still struggling with this. I connected back in to the red wire. But still no respose when i switch to revers. But when i put an open wire with the two,camera works!unfortunately im not yet in reverse gear.. help please

Do you have the other end of the video cord wired to the positive power on the backup white light, so that it gets powered up when you put the car in reverse?

Yes make sure it’s hook up to reverse light power wire and also make sure it has a good ground

When I turn mine on the power to all my gauge's and AC goes off and no sound any help would be appreciated

I had no sound with mine as well turns out the blue wire need to be hooked into the amp wiring harness.

I have this same one on a 2002 ford f350 super duty. I cant get the sound to work. Plz help
