Installing AEROCATCHES! (FULL E36 RACECAR Build series) (Part 20)
In this video we will be installing AEROCATCHES on my E36 328 Race car!
Overall the install is pretty easy and straightforward, it's just a bit painful to drill and cut in your nicely painted hood haha. I definitely overestimated how much time the top side would take but didn't consider it's a double layer panel. So cutting out the underside was not a fun job to do.
Luckily it all worked out in the end and I am very happy with the end result, I definitely started sweating once I drilled through the hood.

Can't wait to see this thing finally on the track!
Some guys just put them in the condenser mount holes but I just couldn’t lol - and I will be using AC so not an option. I drilled a couple holes just to the side of the big holes left from taking out the original hood catch blocks. Basically in the same spot as yours. More fun taking off the driver side quarter panel to get the wire out! Great job tho looks flawless! I bought a dremel like yours after using a regular grinder on my hood. The Dremel is where it’s at. Makes it so much easier.
Notifications gang checking in!
Broo really good video mann. Keep it up. I hope someday in Turkey i will have same opportunities as you.
Greetings my friend, your work is great💥❤❤❤❤🏁💯🙏😈
Clean af!
What paint you use? And how you paint it (procedure)
I was wondering. Did you also consider welding the plates instead of screwing them on the frame? Perhaps welding would make it lighter and stronger?
Curious what tj’s 100th video will be ! 🤩

How expensive is that, dude? $
