FIRST DRIVE! (FULL E36 RACECAR Build series) (Part 21)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
A big moment in the series! Driving the car for the very first time after the cage and engine rebuild!
Overall it went really well, there were some issues to sort before the actual drive and during/after the drive as well. Luckily it were all minor issues and easy fixes.
It was pretty crazy to drive it after all the work that has gone into it, it feels like a completely different car while maintaining everything that makes the E36 so good.
From here on it's pretty much smooth sailing to the end. All the big big steps and risks have been done and it's time to start enjoying it.

I wish you the best. I'm happy to be back on the BMW E36 M3 road😈😈🏁✅🙏💯
Btw I changed crankshaft sensor (aftermarket VDO) - fixed long cranking, poor drive-ability straightaway.
It could be bogging and stuttering because your using the 323 DME the 328 DME is mapped completely different

I am using the 328 DME
What code reader are you using for the E36? Not sure which one I should buy because most of them are OBD-2
I know someone i can buy an E36 318IS M42 from, i was thinking about buying this car and turboing it. what do you think about this? When i look around on the internet it can gain a lot of horsepower and its an strong engine.
👍🏻

Agreed, especially with bolt-ons (m50 manifold, cams, exhaust, etc.) 2.8 has one good advantage, compared to S50 engines, it's noticeably lighter, because of aluminum block.
