Excellent, works great, engineered well. Water temp has 3 warmth adjustments, as does spray intensity. Self cleaning and conserves power automatically. Should have purchased years ago.

Spoiler Alert for DIYers, the "release button" location, so necessary at 1:30 into the video, is documented in the Instruction Manual. It is on the right side (facing the toilet) near the exhaust fan.

Yes, it was really frustrating that the video didn't mention the release button. I installed this thing years ago and no longer had the manual and couldn't remember how to get the seat back off. Such an essential piece of information.

Love our bidets! Great for folks with mobility issues or in caregiver situations. 10 years from now they will be commonplace. The tide is turning with American consumers deciding that water, warm water and seats at that, really is easier and cleaner than paper alone. And water washing is better for the sewer and septic systems, due to less TP and wipes being flushed.

I lived in Japan for 3 years and because my house had a washlet I used less than 10 rolls of toilet paper the entire time! After my parents visited even they bought one. Now that I'm back stateside I finally have my own too. More people need to know about these!

My husband and I just spent a good hour or so trying to slide this witch onto the bracket - and it absolutely, positively WILL NOT GO IN!!!!! We took the bracket off, we adjusted it so it was 1.125" or so from the opening. No click. No nothing. It seems like for the price, we could get a whole toilet with the bidet seat included - just not a Toto.

  • @DevinBryant

Depending on the toilet, save yourself the trouble and instead insert it from below. You can just bunch up the rubber to put the top end through the hole. I had to do this on an American Standard toilet because the hole is ever so slightly too small for the fitting, but it works just fine the other way. Should be in the instructions.

The NEW Toto toilets have an extra hole for the works to go through. Which, of course, does not work with all other toilets. This is OLD stuff! I have other complaints - the Toto costs roughly 3 times more than the American made devices. I have one and it's more comfortable (padded vinyl seat cover, not the rock hard white plastic). The other thing I don't like is that you can't SIT ON THIS THING ! It flexes and threatens to crack.
