Do the steering radio controls still work? What about old school analog Aux input? I have an LG Phone with a high fidelity DAC and play my flac music that way because it's superior to Bluetooth in sound quality.

Good questions, i belive i showed the steering wheel controls working yes. Aux input with a jack no cuz bluetooth is more convenient on a general scale. It does have Aux in and out for music systems tho,

Yes that's a simple setting switch

A full part list would be nice. Dash cover, screen, also the electrical .. Was his Ram 2014 fully wired already for such a display ? I know some come with extra wiring harnesses but that truck was never designed for such an immersive screen. Was extra wiring needed?

We get our radios directly from a warehouse in china before they get branded so we are considered a dealer, All plug and play wiring and no modification was needed to give space for the screen to grow, it was specifically made for this vehicle so everything went in smoothly

I just installed this in a ram 1500 2019 classic and everything seems to work beside my backup camera. Did u have to mess with any settings? Also on my display it shows a jeep instead of a ram how did u change that? Thanks

You probably forgot to connect the yellow male and female rca connecter when installing the radio, if those are connected and the Camara is factory when the radio u bought may have a faulty

No cable sucks when it glitches you won’t have anything till you shut your vehicle off and turn it back on and you know how Bluetooth works it takes a minute so you’ll be down the street already

The factory ones don't get any updates either. My 2022 has never had an update, and I check manually all the time.

Your car isn’t running car play, your phone is. The display would never need an update, factory or aftermarket. The software updates are from Google or Apple not the car manufacturers

Looks like the company that sold u the radio gave u the wrong radio. For dodge rams they come in two versions. MANUAL AC and AUTO AC. They probably got It reversed and need to give you the right radio!!!
