6.7 Panda… how’s the brightness compared to your original headlights ? How are the lights holing up to this heat ( no fog inside housing ) ? Have you had any code errors during the duration of operations / installation?

Mine just came in today. My truck came with projector housings and when i installed the Vlands they functioned the way you set them up right out of the box. sweeping turn signal and no blue except on the start up dance. i really love these things. thanks for making me decide to get them with your video. side note- i bought the10 dollar LED fog bulbs you linked for us for us too. i did have to program them in alphaobd for them to work right. my truck is a 2015 R/T.

I have. a Laramie with the factory Halogen Projector. I was curious if there was a ballast needed to operate with the cambus system. I have water in my driver side, like so many others, and the light output is lacking. Other driver's lights overpower mine and didn't want to spend the money for OEMs. I am hoping I can just plug and play as you did.

HELL YES! I have been stressing spending $600 on them but now im not thinking twice. These are competition with headlights that are over $1000

Nice. Thanks for share. You need to do more mods to your Ram. This is what I do to mine. Premium Gauge dash. Oem aux switches. 5th get Led taillights with blind spot sensor. Oem Push start. And more... Lol

I like your choice

Swapped out the factory halogen bulbs on my 2021. I put white led headlights and amber led fog lights. I like to change the bulbs rather than the whole assembly I don’t like all the extra space ship lights. It’s getting out of control these days the new Fords are a perfect example they don’t know when to stop. Extra fog lights or a light bar are fine in my opinion.

Looks good! The blue is awesome if you have a blue truck. If your truck is safe brush green the blue won't look good

That's so cool man I love watching your videos because I always had rams but I just recently got a single cab and I'm doing mods just like you are. I changed all my lights to led. Your making think of buying a hellcat motor too man. Keep up the good work

Best looking for sure, waiting for long term review. Read many issues of fogging and horrible customer service. I will definitely get if these aren’t realistic, never know about reviews on different sites

@@ryanwalsh3966 fogging is probably because aftermarket’s aren’t sealed very good. I put GE silicone on all of mine and haven’t had issues with fogging for years.

I like the amber

I picked up the Morimoto equivalent of these lights for my 4th gen Ram with the amber DRL's. They look sick nasty but honestly are so expensive that I cannot recommend them. Seeing your headlights makes me wish I would've shopped around more as their are so many options to still get that sleek look I was going for. Nice video! Loving the look.

@@josephjroy6593 It had the projector style headlight housings with halogen bulbs. I found that my light output was terrible which is what pushed me to upgrade.

Theres a reason the morimoto are 10x better. Better cut off better hot spots and quality

​@@mustangspartan they're not that bright though. They look nice and are Avery good quality build imo but they are no bright. They suck to look at for sure, but my dogs outshine the headlights and if you get the four bangers they're twice or even three times a bright

Love the headlights but I think its time to match the fog lights in some way

Goosebumps those are just nasty! I need those on my blue ram as well. Like your set-up after you made the adjustments to the amber turn signal. Too clean 🧼

Heck yeah!!

Just installed these the other day based on this review. They look killer! I was having a few issues like errors, low beams out, parking lights out, not working on auto... But after reseating the fuse and removing and replacing the neg on the battery - and then driving it a bit, all the errors went way. Been about a week or more and knock on wood, no issues.

I love the headlights but my truck is not blue. I would definitely buy if they had different color options. Having the bright green sport Ram, the blue just doesn't mix.

What is the comparison from factory projection headlights to the VLAND?

I actually just bought these and got them today they actually switch that wire for the turn signals so you don’t have to move that ground to where you had it on your install I was so worried about getting that pin swapped but I just looked at your other harness and how it should be for those sequential orange turn signals and it looks like they already swapped them for out of the box ! I’m going to put them in tomorrow and double check but if they do it right out the box I’ll let y’all know ! So other people that want to buy these lights know before they buy !

And the fuse is built into the wire bundle mine was straight up plug and play didn’t have to tap into my fuse box

I think the DRL's should dim at night or when the headlights are on. Not sure if that's just how you set them up or not.

I wish the original boot up light show would operate as an rgb. I have a red 16 sport and the blue looks amazing on your truck with the blue paint. Not sure it would look as cool on my red.

Awesome look, my 2016 ram has factory projector lights with Amber DRL’s. Do you know what illuminates if the truck already has DRL’s. Again looks great

super badass although im wondering if a cop would have a problem with them if someone was to leave the turn signal blue? i do perfer the amber turn signal.

These look waaaaay better than I thought - but I still like my alpharex g2 pro ones better, simply because I don't like the reflector look because I think reflector looks dated. Amber sequential turn signal is definitely the way to go, the other options just look super odd to me. But the startup animation of the vlands are in my opinion superior to the alpharex ones. I'd have two concerns though if I'd put these on my truck and use them here in Sweden. One would be if they weren't to bright to pass verification and people flashing because they get blinded, and second thing is... The bottom DRL... Tube i guess? Turns off while my turn-signal is on which improves turn-signal visibility. Another complaint they might have at verification over here - the turn-signal isn't visible enough because the bottom tube stays lit. I do get the feeling that these vland ones are more aimed towards styling while the alpharex ones are more aimed towards functionality. But like I've said before - to each their own and I can totally see why one would go with these over alpharex. The choice between these two brands will be very taste-dependant.

I would definitely stick with the alpharex g2 not just for functionality but longevity. Especially, if you get the ones with H7 bulbs. It is a quick swap if they go bad. Kinda iffy on the built in LED versions for the low/high beams. Wondering the replacement process if one of them burn out. Right now I own the Morimotos XBs but I’m almost considering selling them and getting the alpharex g2s. Just because the morimotos XB also feel like they are just for looks and the name.

Having already ordered -on 11/15/22- and installed -on 11/19/22- a brand new set of Alpharex Luxx series for my 05 dodge ram, I'm pretty sure Alpharex doesn't sell the g2 series anymore. Non of their headlights have halogen turn signals only sequential turn/drls and led reflector. Obviously the pro series projectors have halogen bulbs but that is it. So maybe upgrade to the new Luxx series or save up the extra and go for the Nova series.

Will you talk about why you chose the reflective vs projector headlights? I currently have factory projectors on my 2015 2500 and what I have read is the projectors seem to be brighter down the road and have less blinding effect on other drivers.

John, do they need to be programmed in the computer or do they have resistors so they are true plug and play?

Can I ask why you didn’t go with the VLAND projector units? Not worth the extra expense compared to these? I’m running factory projectors with HID’s now and have an igniter stating to act up so this it’s the perfect time to make the jump to LED’s. Thanks for all your great content!

Master : I want to install a dinamic led on the front grill , I want to turn it on when I unlock the door ( head lights turn on for 30 sec ) but , Idk if there is a few for that , So I want to turn it on unlocking doors and when truck runs ... I can't find the fuse for headlights !! good video

Guys I’ve had these for about a month now and although the DRL and all works and looks great, the beam pattern is HORRIBLE. I’ve adjusted them vertically and horizontally, but the beam pattern remains the same. Left side is flat and then it diagonally shoots up to the sky on the right side. I’ve never seen such a disgusting beam pattern before. That’s is my only regret.

Lol, they have the european beam pattern!! Haha they're probably not even street legal here. Epic fail. They're cool, I love the reflector led concept, led projectors are laughably weak, morimoto cheated and used dual projectors. Otherwise projectors should be strictly reflector housings, leave the projectors to hid

Where did you get the other harness for the sweeping amber?? My headlights didn't come with them just the blue flashing... 😕

I like the amber sweep. The blue would actually be illegal in all states! Not sure I like the low beam pattern on the garage door! Also….have you checked into the grill with the LED halo bar on each side that would meet up with the headlamp LED bars. I’ve seen one on Amazon and it looked good! They also installed LED RAM letters. Which I think was a bit much!

Is it hard to swap the cable to the right pin on the harness? I see you just used the other harness you bought and not the vland one.
