Shows his insights, tells us about how dangerous a good bumper is - plows through a dryer to show how good his product is. Man, don't EVER get in a road rage incident with A.K. He will toy with you all afternoon like that. You can clearly see that he's well-versed in the fine art of moving scrap cars around, whether it's pushing or pulling. That might be the most (perhaps unintentional) impressive flex I've ever seen.

I love that when this man rambles he makes more sense and valid points than most adults do during an actual conversation.

I love how much Andrew loves this stuff. The smile on his face when he is carrying the plasmas cutter out of the room is priceless.

That metal circular saw blade is impressive, cut pretty clean and fast,considering the thick plate you cut.

After I look online and that was in my country Romania 🇦🇩 it quite common now......it Tungsten Carbide tips disk blade it have 4 up to 5 times more teeth cost sometimes depends on what it can't cut almost us much as the circular saw tool there are versions that cut even concrete with iron bars ......how ever do not cut wood with it i did huge mistake I cut planks of wood with nails in it the problem is heat dissipation if you cut metal it conduct heat and cool it wood don't so in time the tips start to dull i gonna try to sharp the tips so I don't throw away a expensive disk blade !

I agree. But even on technical things, I had to argue bitterly with the guy who was supposedly helping me restore some vehicles. He didn't know when in the firing curve "advanced" was in relation to "retarded" . He put in the lower control arms on my Lotus BACKWARDS and wondered why the steering rack was so far down the threads in adjustment. Flipped 'er over, and presto changeo! I let him know that. I was happy to do things on my own to avoid his bull anymore. And then he tried to re-join the Navy, had a cholesterol of over 300, would NOT take the statin drugs to lower it, started smoking cigarettes, and keeled over dead as a doornail at 57. Yes to his dying day he had plenty of room to criticize me and others, and avoid all fault taking on his own. I even got him a job at my work and all he did was moan and sabotage a job that, were the FIRST TIME, he made decent money, got some modest Stock options, etc. Sadly he was SUCH a good mechanic and restorer and did his work job well. I had to get a bit non-linear with him to make him aware of how badly he was screwing things up for NO REASON. Annnnnd, he quit and ended up selling ALL of this great auto repair gear to make ends meet. He'd proclaim, "I pay my bills!" yet had a 10,000 dollar debt with Snap-off. You can't help people like this and at the end they have to just live with themselves, and yes, best to do it yourself if at all possible.

I never cease to be amazed by your ingenuity and rugged determination to solve the most frustrating projects. You've made an old man optimistic about the youth of America.

The end result is the goal. If you just slapped on a store bought solution, that would be dime a dozen. It's the creative problem solving steps and watching you go through at least some of the fabrication that keeps the interest level high. Longer videos are just fine. It's what you do that not many others take the time to show or know how to do. These are some of your best. Please keep em coming.

I think Andrew was using that derelict car as a make-shift road grader blade. It seemed to do the job pretty well. And he's right; you never know when a rogue electric dryer will run across the street in front of you so you need a front bumper for your truck that will do the job. And after a bit of modification, he has one.

That’s the one thing I love about this guy is he does stuff mostly by himself and it always works and functions correctly how he wants it. It reminds me of how I’m am because is love working and building stuff by myself.

i take vehicles in for things to be done,, never correct,, even a fkn exhaust. a canvas canopy was the latest..'' were the best, it needs to be done this way'',, no,,im the fkn customer, this,,is how i want it & it works.. you,,dont own or drive the fkn truck.. . now, i cant fit my rack, or take it off.. last chance to get it fitted before i moved.. fk it.. 30 yrs ago,,took a truck in for paint,, same color.. came back different color.. it was original paint, guy said the color code is correct, i said bs.. he re painted it,,ruf as guts.. ass holes.. latest uncle tonys garage,, lady had a 59/60 truck frame off.. total fk up.. id burn there fkn shop down.. then again...when its re built..

I bought my first welder when I was 18, my first set of torches when I was 19 .. and That was over 40 years ago, Still have them both and still use them, maybe monthly now I'm retired. It'd be impossible for me to calculate how many tens of thousands of dollars I've made with them .. and hundreds of times I saved the day, when I just had to fix it myself.

You’re never too old to enjoy dragging an old Car around the place! That was a Hoot, Andrew. Lots of mods on the new bumper, but it Looks like it was all worth it... really enjoy watching the Labs enjoying Life!!

I knew eventually this upgrade on the truck was gonna happen, because i've watched all your video's, and have been following this channel since close to the beginning. If you have seen all the video's, you know that heavy duty bumpers are not new to andrew, amongst other heavy duty upgrades on other parts of his vehicle's. Really, i was a bit surprised that the bumper upgrade hadn't happened sooner. Andrew is probably right about not everyone should have that bumper, because whoever gets hit, they're probably gonna die, or be seriously injured, depending on what they are driving. He does need this bumper though, that's a sketchy path up that mountain. Thanks for the video, wish you would make a shirt that says," look how this broke for no reason, a truck made out of tinfoil and plastic. You could add a drawing of one of the vehicle's that broke for no reason. G-d bless.

It's been too long since I watched an AC vid where we get walked through an extensive modification with a very simple objective. These are the vids that I enjoy the most. Taking out that dryer made me laugh out loud.

SUGGESTION: For rough(actually quite decent) bent body panel repair get a vacuum pull rod. Its a rod with sliding hammer on it, with 10cm diameter really soft and adaptive to uneaven surfaces rubber sucker with a hole in a middle. the hole on the sucker is connected through the rod to the back of it to quick fit vacum connection. You can pull miracles in seconds with that thing, and even keep the paint in tact, as it does not create sharp bends. You can pull it just with body force, hammer, or combined- it would do miracles on that fender in seconds.

Took me about 5 seconds to realize what andrew was about to do with that washer lmao. Was not disappointed.

And that scene where you come bombing into frame through the field and onto your driveway was one of the best filmed shots I've Ever seen and had me laughing so hard, I'm going to have to watch that again.
