They also sell a "diesel heater thru hull exhaust skin" that makes it look good where it comes out of the bus.

An air conditioner in heating or cooling mode uses the same amount of energy. It uses a reverse valve to achieve heating. In cooling the unit absorbs heat in the room and rejects it to atmosphere via the condenser. In heating mode the condenser will absorb heat from atmosphere and release it into the cabin. We generally call it 'assisted heating' since the colder it gets outside, the less heat there is to absorb. A diesel heater will obviously generate a lot more heat than the average size mid wall split aircon.

Ahh okay, I dont know why it seemed like it used more. That would make since on why it doesnt heat that well when the temp drops to 20 outside. But not the diesel heater can help with that.

I did the same thing, but didn't pay as much attention as I should. My diesel heater only does metric. So I guess I'm going to learn celsius.

Looks like you are building a sauna at the end lol. Can you still drive the bus through all of the winter?
