Tons of work and thought went into this and it's been a long time coming but it is a very impressive work, love the electronic dash.

i recently ordered a bluetooth sensor board for telemtry logigng for the racetracks, i figured i would make a raspberry pi system that runs android and make an app for it to log it. Now i am waiting for a screen, i figured i could just as well make the sensor modular and use the system withthe screen as a navigation system when i'm on the road. Was curious about also hooking up the ECU of my track bike to make the entire system a motorcycle dash+telemetry logger. I was looking for housing builds but this video got it all, nice work!

Dude this whole project is genius. I plan on using this project heavily for information and ideas when I convert my 97 Ski Doo Mach Z to fuel injection this summer. Keep up the great work man!

Excellent, makes perfect sense and a neat install as always. Extra credit for the comedy sized adjustable spanner on an 5mm screw. Thank you.

Any chance you could share the design files for the 3d printed parts? Also what are your plans to make it less bulky? It looks great as it is but I could see trying to make it thinner. Really enjoy watching your progress.

Well done! I have a similar setup for my 68 VW (EFI, Turbo) using a RPi and full blown TS as a gauge cluster. I'm assuming you are using an RPi 3. What is the load time from OFF to gauges? TS recommends using an RPi-4 but I want to continue using my RPi-3 if load times are acceptable. Thank you!

I don't know if you are doing this, but if you're running an air-cooled bike for any length of time, you need to have a fan pointed at it. Your crank really shouldn't be getting hot enough to melt a 3d print.

Motor sounds awesome! What are you going to run for tires? When I raced my CS5 I went with Heidinau. Bridgestone also makes vintage speed-rated tires I believe.

That's a good question. I was really hoping to find a Z rated tire but the best I can seem to find is H rated. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.

@@vintageironmotorcycles Yeah, both the Bridgestone and Heidenau tires are H rated, so 130mph. That is all we used in AHRMA roadrace events, but those old bikes never exceeded 130mph, even though highly modified within the rules
