Thanks for the tutorial, as a fellow blood biker the com kits really are useful. And I was going to get the AGV ark (Sena) kit as it’s made for the sports modular helmet, but seeing how easy and adaptable the cardo kits are has swung me, plus they do a KTM one so it matches the bike 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂😂

Soo glad this video helped, you never quite know when doing these things, if they're of any value... Let me know how you get in with the packtalk, also if you have any questions relating to the cardo units I'm happy to answer with what experiences I've encountered both positive and negative... I do like the KTM editions though, good choice 👍

Excellent video, Thank you... I was considering buying the Agv Ark system for my Sportmodular as I didn't realise a Cardo would fit. Great tip on the Smartpack, although I think I would like the natural voice commands on the Packtalk Bold.

@@bearsmash2539 I purchased the Packtalk Bold and installed it in my Sportmodular following your video. Everything went fairly smoothly apart from breaking off a little bit of foam fitting the mic and the install actually taking a couple of hours instead of 20 min. Thank you.

did you have to break the rubber lining to put it on?

The rubber lining folded in slightly, hasn't affected the rubber or noise of the helemet, just creased the rubber slightly..

Is that a full carbon fiber helmet? If so do you have any interference when using your phone, navigation or mesh with other riders?

Yes the agv sportmodular is a full carbon fibre helmet... Even the front chin guard.... My medium comes in a 1300 grams which is lighter than most premium brand full face helmets... I don't suffer from interference when using my intercom as the unit itself is externally fiited and has its own ariel...

@@bearsmash2539 Thank you. I have the same helmet with and when i was ordering the Cardo I was informed that teh slim will not fit this helmet and there may be interefernce as carbon fibre is a signal blocker and you may have static. Have you used it with a linked nav or for phone calls as well?

@@briangershenoff9129 the packtalk slim has its antenna go inside the helemet, as you've been rightly informed the signal would then be affected..... The packtalk original, bold and black additions would be you best choice due to the external antenna or ariel... If you can obtain a Smartpack at the right price when you update the firmware you essentially get an original packtalk... To for your information.... Let me know how you get on though my friend 👍

Cardo 4x is such useless service. The speakers are a waste at high speeds.. Very disappointed with ka performance. Cardo talk does not work

Not had any personal dealing with the cardo 4x however a friend of mine uses them, he found that readjusting his speaker local assisted in clear volume at speed, also used the app to adjust his mic sensitivity enabled the cardo talk... I hope this helps as I personally use the smartpack and packtalk units
