Installing a CAE Shortshifter in my E36 TRACK CAR

In this video we will be installing the CAE Ultimate shifter in my E36 323i trackcar!
Also we will be changing the engine and transmission mounts to PU! This is to reduce play and have a better feeling with the shifter. Later we realized it was also necessary. I am really impressed with how good the shifter feels and how easy it is to shift right, this will definitely help a lot on track.
Overall the car is pretty close to being finished for now. Next year we are going next level with the build but first we are going to drive it A LOT!

I always on d edge for your new vid.. Get a better lsd.. Im Using a m3 3.38 us lsd and change to higher rated ones.. Wavetrac 1.5 lsd.. Car is a different animal Now.

Thanks!! Yeah the new diff just broke so I'm considering buying a newly build 188mm 3,46 LSD

I don’t think that is necessary to go really fast but it is very cool tho. The sound those things make 😍

A lot of people recommended that! Is it that big of a difference?
Some mods you could try AC Delete (hopefully you dont use it haha) Sunroof Delete New flywheel and clutch ECU Chip/Tune

I love my AC, but I still need to fix it😂 Light flywheel and Tune are definitely on the list! If I start deleting stuff like the sunroof, I will go all out (Carbon roof 😍)

@@JouKou The dream is S54, but that is still a long way down the road. My priority right now is improving as a driver because the car has so much potential which I am not fully using.

@@TJS36 Thats true and very thoughtful of you. Utilise that m52 until you become a master driver. Then if its necessary drop that s54. Although an s50/52 would be better cause its plug n play. Anyway love the channel and the content, followed you on insta too. Keep up the great work!

Keep m52, get m3 cams and high compression pistons.NA power 💪💪

Question. I wanna do this, although I did a tranny swap. And my reverse is far right and back instead of far left and up. Would this still work?
