Thanks again for the new video and doing a great job with the explaining everything. Are you installing a second battery ? If so how do you split the charge so both batteries are being charged from the engine and also the solar panel ? Cheers Bob

Just purchased a Seaflo bilge pump for an 18 ft used Wellcraft fish boat. Two wires come off the negative post. Where specifically do both go? One, i think, directly to the battery. The other? Thanks. Great videos!

@@AirbornePirates Yes, 2 live wires, one negative on the pump. I thought i needed 2 negatives from the switch, 1 to the battery, one to the negative bus terminal. So, the negative on the switch will go to the battery, correct? Thanks, by the way I have completely re-wired a 1989, 18 ft Wellcraft with a 130 hp, I purchased for my grandson using your videos as my "teacher."

Hi I've just bought the same bilge pump as in your video, quick question I have the same wires obviously but I wanted to know did you run the additional small section of black wire yourself from the pumps main wire to get you to the battery? Only asking as my black wire doesn't have the additional small piece attached.

I bought my first boat a few months ago and am giving it a 100% rewire and instrument overhaul. I bought a similar bilge pump switch but am installing it behind the wheel so I can see if the pump starts operating when I'm out on the water. I don't know what the rubber bump is for and i see there is one on your switch too. I'm going out to look at it again...maybe it's a fuse. No instructions came with my switch.

@Islander Outdoors I assume below the wooden floor there will be a void so I will not end up screwing directly through the bottom of the boat. I only plan on using small grub screws, or I was going so silicone a piece of plastic to the bilge floor then screw the pump to the plastic
