That top was in great shape. I need to show what an old top looks like. Clear packing tape. Busted windows. Worn out zippers ECT. Good video.
Awesome. I have a 77 CJ7 that I restored and now daily drive. I love driving it around town and taking on weekend rides.
That original top was in great shape... no tears, no yellowing of the clear panels, the handles still work. Just clean it up a little. I think it looks better than the Bestop, especially the doors. You're crazy to replace it. Plus, you may not have to worry about the paint getting scratches, but the new top will get scratches, especially on the clear panels, so nothing gained there.

I've thought about this for my 98 Dakota. But I'm not ready to take that jump. It has the 4cly 5 speed. The whole reason why I got it. The 5 speed .
How easy is it to swap with a hard tip as the seasons change.
