I saw some soft top CJ's in the background of the video. Can you talk about those, and especially about how/when soft tops were standard, optional, etc.? Could a buyer order just a soft top? Or was that the option and the hard top was standard? Thanks!

Silly question but what is a "rocker" and why is it called that?

@@CJ-rk5eg yes love the look of Jeep’s never had one till now an now I need to get this motor in it so I can drive it
Dennis, you need to sit down one day and write a book on what to look for in a jeep, you got too much knowledge to limit it to a 20 minute video 👍 and I would definitely buy that book
Favorite part of Friday right here 🙂
Never ceases to amaze me the plethora of knowledge that Dennis has. That is Jeep heaven if I've ever seen it.
Oh course I wanna see all the Jeeps!!!

That would be like asking a 5 year old kid if he wants a bike for Christmas!
I can't help but love seeing such a beautiful collection of Jeeps left in factory condition displayed by someone so knowledgable. All I ever see are heavily modified mud rigs, rock rigs, and mall crawlers. Your video helped me decide, I am going to do a stock build CJ with only some very minor performance mods for a bit more low end torque. I love how these are so great in their stock form and really don't get the respect they deserve.
Jesus! That's paradise. I would like to be all day surrounded by Jeeps, awesome. I love your knowledge and passion Dennis. Many thanks for sharing with us these amazing videos.

I’d love to see that sea of CJ’s. Anything CJ you do is awesome
I still got my original 1986 cj7 bgt in 1985 with the original winch..Everything works..
Would love to see all the Jeeps!
I learned how to drive in a '67 CJ5. Dad said that when I got old enough to be able to push in the clutch and see over the steering wheel that I could drive it. I used to hang from a tree limb trying to stretch myself.

Thanks for showing us Dennis. Can’t wait to see them all.
Felicidades Sr. Collins por su colección de Jeep. Son una bellezas de vehículos.
holy shit!!! CJ PARADISE, yes we need a week o f CJ and show off the collection, thanks
We still have my wife's 1985 Garnett Red CJ7. It came from the dealership with the Renegade striping similar to the one Dennis has. However it only has striping on the hood (no Renegade decals). Also no rocker panels but factory steps. The interior had the base looking black CJ seats but with orange piping on them. Upgraded steering wheel and a center console. Also rear seats. Dennis's Jeep is absolutely beautiful.
Damn, that Laredo is one bada** ride....I have those Limited sport mirrors on my '85 Renegade....
Awesome video....I want all of them!!!! Hell yeah, show all of them!!!!😍😍🥰🥰👍👍👍👍👍👍
I gasped at the 00:40 mark. Amazing

Great great information. Several things that I didn’t realize about the CJ‘s. Man it looks like you have a awesome collection of jeeps as well. I appreciate the post
Holy crap! This is unbelievable.
Amazing collection you have there, thanks for sharing your insight.
HELL YES!!!!!!! We want to see every single one in detail! Please Dennis, please!!
I had a black 1985. Laredo in 1986 one of if not the most favorite ride I have ever had, loved that thing
I created my own CJ7.5 back in 1996. Was a 1984 CJ7 w/304ci and 5spd, added a scrambler hardtop including the metal that seperated the cab area from the back/bed. Also used a scrambler roll bar.Painted it plum crazy purple. Made a leather tonneau cover to cover the back. It served no purpose other than to look cool and turn a few heads. Driving it through a few northeast winters eventually killed it. Thanks for the CJ show Dennis👍😁
That Limited! Holy Smokes!
Man, my day is not the same without my Coffee Walk!! I need it like a crackhead needs crack!! Gotta have it!!!!!!!!!!😊 Anyways, I'm absolutely in luv with your collection.....WOW!!😳😳😍😍

I didn’t even know there was a CJ limited. I’ve never seen one. Such a beautiful truck!

You have a great channel, Dennis! Appreciate your passion and knowledge for Jeeps, and then sharing the information with all of us. Thank you! 🇺🇸🚜👍
Never knew about the Ltd very cool
Jeep Heaven. !! Please more Jeeps....
In 1982 I ordered a CJ7, 5speed, 6 cyl, posi trac, cloth top, rear seat, stock wheels, light yellow, no other options. Drove that jeep for years finally lost it in a divorce. It was the best truck I have ever owned. Drove it in Illinois to Pensacola Fl, pulled boats, hunted almost everything you can imagine...if I remember correctly paid something like 11k for it... Im 73 now and wish everyday I had it back.
Keep them coming !!👍👍 Great job
I love how you point out the important differences! Thanks for another great video!
Great job as always. Definitely want to see all the CJ's.
Incredible knowledge about Jeeps. This definitely helps the beginner know what they are looking at on Jeeps. Awesome!
Great work ethic awesome entrepreneur inspiration to the up coming American dreamers 👍👍👍
Great episode
People in 1987 talked about the YJ being a yuppie Jeep. These CJs were fancier than any YJ I've ever seen, truly amazing!
I recently found your series of videos, I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep it up.
i love how adding a different color or stripe kit or interior, etc., can make the jeep new and exciting every time. i dont know of another vehicle that can be made to take on a thousand different styles and be unique every time
Yes we want to see them all!
Thank you Dennis for your videos, I really appreciate your love for CJ's. Still have my original 1980 CJ-7 Renegade, which was factory ordered. Drove it my senior year in high school.

Dennis, you have been holding out on us!! Yes of course we want a video of the secret stash of Jeep’s!
Fantastic collection I would love to see it all!
Your paint work is Outstanding! What makes a great auto painter Dennis? Repetition and Talent. Repetition in Environment, Material, and Equipment. Even painting the same models over and over can bring top quality finishes. Then there is Talent. Some poeple have it and some NEVER will. I have painted many cars time my time but haven't realy got back into since I joined the Army and got out. The last car I painted was a 69 Camaro SS 396 4spd a year ago. The factory color was Orange but the owner made me paint it TX Aggie Maroon. What a waste. I will NEVER do that again, no matter how much the owner pays.
I have an 84 that is Ice Blue Metallic, chrome Laredo wheels, but the rest of the interior matches the Renegade trim. From the color code on the paint, this ice blue was only used in 1984-85 Best I can tell this jeep came with a soft top as there are snaps all the way around. Seats look original however they are shot and I am having to replace all of them. Noting is salvageable. Thank you for this video, it greatly helps.
I want to see all the CJ’s!
Dude this is my favorite KZread channel by far. So much knowledge. Thanks Dennis!!

Hey Dennis, expat Canuck living in Australia. Happy to have discovered your channel, NOT happy that there has been no mention of a 97 XJ Cherokee 4 litre hi output. Bought one through familial circumstance. Second best rig I have ever owned. Number 1 , 1964 Plymouth Fury III 313 Polyhedral that I owned before I left home 50 years ago. Keep up the good work!!!!! Oh yeah, you really need to try Maconah freeze dried !!
Yes you should show us your collection!
A wealth of knowledge. Thanks for sharing
No b.s,just quality content. I’m from Scotland and I’ll never ever see an 81-85 cj yet I hang on every word Dennis has to say about them. My favourite day of the week is Friday as a new episode f coffee walk comes out.
Look forward to every Friday. I've watched all of the C.W's. They need to be longer. Lol. Thank you Dennis. I am learning so much. You are appreciated my friend.
