It’s so complicated on these bikes

Just completed this on a '23 Fe501s along with an enduroplate. Worked perfect and looks much more 'tidy'. Thanks Mike!

Got just the tail tidy. I like it a lot.

I like this... I bought this... I installed this... great stuff. Had to do some minor modifications to the dowels (drill out a bit more and sand down) to get them to fit in a new OEM husky tail, but it's put together well. I'd recommend and buy again.

Thats the best license plate I have ever seen.

One cool thing to add to the tidy tail kit is a piece of (not black)heat shrink to cover the extra not connected 2 pin connector. I used black stuff I had in my toolbox but it will be tough to locate if I ever have to throw the stock light on. Great light though. Thank you for a great part that has decluttered the bike a bunch!

This is really slick! Much more streamline than OEM.

Did you have to unplug the indicator LED bulb I am about to install this on my 2023 KTM 500 wondering if I’m going to need to remove the bulb you didn’t get the four-way flashing at all?

That's such a great set up for single track riding where turn signals are going to be broken.

For those of you that have purchased this product and are in the process of installation. Please pay particular attention to which direction that Mike positions the tail light. I installed mine upside down and that resulted in the signals operating on the wrong side of the the bike when I used them. Thankfully due to the over the top customer service from Taco Moto, they were able to help me correct my errors. Do not hesitate when doing business with these people their service is exceptional!

Any chance the Fe501 has some of the wiring in place to add some blinkers. We have to cross traffic on trails and it would be nice to have blinkers.

Could you use the discarded 3 prong wire for other accessories w/o a draw on the system. Maybe to power a gps or usb for phone????

I’ve heard reports that all the FE street legal lighting fits on the TE. Have you tested the fitment? Just curious if one could use your integrated kit vs singles if already doing the conversion. Blinkers would still plug into the harness added.

Do the KTM and Husky use different electrical plugs in the rear? That setup looks near identical to my 2016 KTM. Curious if the light unit would fit a wider year range.

Everything is all new on the 20+

+1 on the tidy tail and 360 wrap blinkers. Looks trick and was easy to install. What type of rack was installed on this bike?

Mike, my tidy tail kit did not come with the LED turn signal flasher relay. Confused…. Do I need it? 2021 FE350S

Like the Tail Tidy - not a fan of composite Husky subframe (I have one)

Also replaced the subframes that I may have broken in a loop out.......These bikes are so complicated.

Bought one for a 2024 beta. Does the tidy tail light not come with the mounting bolts?

Doing this on a FE501w and running into issues with the brake light no registering when I press/pull the break. Any help would be appreciated!

Is there a rear fender that is more pointed like the ktm that would fit this tail light better instead of squared off?

Are this CA legal???

One problem, this is not a DOT legal brake light. If someone rear ends you on the street the lawyer of the other driver will check for it. Just something to be aware of.
