Depending on your vehicle, using the trailer harness triggers this behavior, as it believes a trailer is attached. The solution would be to hard wire the LED strip into the taillights and forgo the trailer harness.
Put this brand on 99 Silverado and the running light is not working.. all others are.. why?

Same here. No low light function when I turn my headlights on. The packaging mentions it, but no luck.

I got pulled over for having this on my lifted 2016 dodge , said they couldn’t see my license plate because it was too bright

This is plugged into the trailer/tow harness.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ THIS VIDEO = Tell me you false advertise without telling me you false advertise. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Why doesn't the ADVERTISED "Driving/Running" light mode work?! That feature is advertised on the box fucking box. It was the whole/only reason I bought this LED strip at all, but the only thing that actually functions is the turn signals and brake lights! I thought that, maybe the one I bought had a defect, so I bought a second tailgate LED strip (after having to return the first one) and it acts exactly the same way, WITH NO DRIVING/RUNNING LIGHT! You don't even mention or show the driving/running mode working in this video! This is what I think... I think that driving/running mode never worked cuz you falsely advertised this products functions/abilities. I see other people in the comments that are having the same exact problem as I am.
