This only shows how to replace the high beams but most people need to replace the low beams which are much harder to get to and have a different locking mechanism.

Wrong. These are both a high and low beam bulb.

That’s fine, but this video only shows how to replace the highbeams which are exponentially easier to change. The low beams have much less clearance to have access for any tools. Also, most people rarely even have the opportunity to use highbeams, and the low beam bulbs burn out frequently.

I just bought a 2019 Tiguan SEL R-Line. Will these fit directly without needing any adapters?

They don't need adapters they need resistors so they don't flash thinking a bulb is blown because of the voltage and current draw differences between led and halogen

I think you can use the same bulb (H7) for low beam.
