Last year I ordered a pair of H7 for my Passat, and it was great. I bought another pair of H7 for my Tiguan but having problems with the installation. Just got mine installed on the 2021 R-Line! Much much better...took me a while to get them back in, that ballast is a piece of work lol.

Hi, did you install them on your car? If you run into any problems, please feel free to contact us for support. We upgraded the retainer adapter and tested on Tiguan, easier installation. If you would like to try new adapters, we're willing to resend one set of new adapters to you. 🙂

Horrible installation. Impossible to lock into place. Read reviews about loosening the 2 torx screws that lock the bulb into place and then tightening them back but what’s the point of going through all this trouble if they’re supposed to be plug and play.

These LED headlight bulbs were designed to fit VW Tiguan 2018-2019 and some models of Mercedes Benz. We did the test on 2018 2019 Tiguan, and Mercedes C300, GLS450 2019. It's easy to install on Mercedes Benz cars, but it's hard to install on Tiguan even we installed it on finally. We have found the season why it's hard to install on Tiguan, and we're imprvoing the design of the metal tabs

I was about to buy this but all reviews say it’s impossible to install. Hopefully that new video comes out soon

I got these as there were recommended and honestly I’m hating the installation. It terrible until they post better instruction or a more comprehensive video hold off. The new video they posted is terrible doesn’t help as all. Sorry LastFit I was to love this product so bad but the last 10% of getting it to work sucks.

I just spent an hour and a half trying to fit 1 bulb/retainer into the housing and could not do it. I watched and follow this video step by step, but it wasn't all too helpful. I then tried to put the factory bulb back in because I had given up and it was getting dark in 15 minutes, and I got the factory bulb to fit and lock in less than 15 seconds, so I don't feel like it is a me problem... Please release a more detailed video :( p.s. 2019 VW Tiguan SE

Josh, check my reply elsewhere in these comments. I couldn’t cut and paste it here. The key is that you have to bend the two metal tabs with bulge in them, so they are “flat” or perpendicular to the LED post. They come from the factory bent up at an angle.

I just installed the Osram H7 LED Nightbreaker on my 2017 Tiguan 2 AD1 and I must say that the Lighting is Definitly much better than whats in this Video. Just to give you an idea of what I mean, I live in Germany were the specs are much higher than in the U.S.. The lighting doesn't blind on coming Traffic as these do. Osram.. German Technologie for safer Driving.

These bulbs fit 2018 Mercedes gle350 with halogen headlights. They won't mess up the electrical system, no issues according to ohter customers' feedback. No need to disconnect battery. Just turn off the headlights while installing the LED lights.

Just installed them and they have little shadow on the passenger side. When adjust the slope to down is very dim not very bright. Is this normal? how to fix this?

You could adjust the light beam pattern by rotating the LED bulb until getting a good light pattern.

Once installed, does one have to do any ECU coding, and can one use the original wire harness? Or is cutting and splicing necessary?

It's not true. Actually, if the factory parts or accessories are not damaged, the warranty is valid. These LED bulbs are used to replace the factory bulbs directly, plug and play. You can still keep the halogen bulbs.

Just installed these on my 2020 SEL Tiguan and if you follow the instructions and flatten the bump on the clip and mind the angle you insert it at, it clicks right in right in. I would like some insight as to why one high beam is lower now and I cant seem to wiggle it around enough to bring it up. All are installed upright as the video shows. Aiming tips would be helpful. Thanks!

Nope sorry I want to love these but I have spent over an hour trying to install and it almost impossible. I don’t feel the click or push in as described and I have analyzed this video over and over to see the exact position the Technician is installing and still no.

Same here. Tried multiple hours and it would just not got in. Even less lock into position. I was able to put the old bulb into place in less than 30 seconds. It’s as if these lights are not even made for the Tiguan.

Okay update: Finally after using every suggestion on this video and by absolute pure luck I got both installed. Pure luck is key! These bulbs do not install easy that is for sure. The alignment is the most important aspect and it next to impossible to know if you got it correct. The comment about bending the metal tabs worked although for the amount on money these cost the manufacture should have had this done before sending to customers. I don’t know if it’s required but I was determined. Next a way better video is needed and take this one off bc this video in concept makes installation easy but it’s the complete opposite. I hope that I never have to replace these bulbs. They do look incredible and I would hate for new or returning customers to be pushed away because of the installation.

@@thegelish the OEM retainer clip for the TIGUAN will not work with these types of bulbs. You need to get some type of universal adapter. I got an RLINE 2019 and purchased similar LED bulb. Couldnt fit

Hello All. I was one of those folks frustrated with this install, but I finally figured it out. Installed these on my 2019 Tiguan. The key problems are the two metal tabs with the little bulge on them. They come from Lasfit at a slight angle. You need to bend them so the tabs are flat. Flat means that the tabs are exactly perpendicular to the LED post. If the tabs are not bent flat, it will not work. Now for the installation. The key thing to realize is that, after installation, those two tabs with end up at the 3 and 9 o’clock position. So slide the bulb in with the tabs at 3 and 9, slightly rotate it counter-clockwise (maybe a 1/4 inch) and it should slightly go in a little further. It’s very subtle. Once you feel like it’s in this sight notch, it’s time to get a good grip and rotate the bulb clockwise while keeping forward pressure on the bulb. It takes a decent amount of torque to turn the bulb. It is not an easy, smooth turn. Also, it is a very short turn (probably less than 1/4 inch) to lock it in. But you will know and celebrate when you get it. Hope this helps.

This installation video is not good at all. Most of this video is the back of your hand, and there is no real view of how the bulb "sucks into place" as you say. I have tried every conceivable way and it still does not fit in the housing. Your booklet that comes alongside your product is lackluster at best and does not give any useful information. Please provide better detail instructions as to how to install these, because 90% of the comments I've read on various sites regarding the installation state that it is impossible to do.

Great information visually.... lose the background music/ noise and readjust better microphone because cannot hear you at all and cc subtitles don't understand you either? Otherwise thank you for trying.
