Install & Initial Review Of The High Lifter 2” Lift Kit On My 2019 Brute Force 750

Ойын-сауық

What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be installing and reviewing the High Lifter 2” lift kit on my 2019 Kawasaki Brute Force 750. This is a great option to gain additional ground clearance and allows for larger custom wheels and tires as well. The quality is great, it installs easily, and I am very happy with the lift kit.

    I ran the wheel spacers with stock rims. I eventually upgraded to 5x3x14 rims on all for corners with 27x 10 zillas.(copied off grizzly model) works great. Recommend for eps models only. I put on Elka shocks and as a bonus, it raised the atv. You have a good video.

    Looks great man, I went with aftermarket offset wheels and got wider. Made a huge difference in handling, way more stable. What were you greasing with a grease gun?

    There were a couple grease fittings underneath but I tried to push some grease into the bottom shock sleeve as it was squeaking a lot from being too try but I just sprayed some WD-Silicone and it worked just as good.

    Can you run 1" taller tires on the front than on the rear or will that not work with 4wd?

  • @DieselLegiance

    @DieselLegiance

    Probably could but it would make tire rotation non existent

    True , I use to do it on sport quads to help with clearance and steering stability. I hear some of these guys talking about how their front end floats around at speed with power steering. Bigger tires in the front would cut that out but didn't know if it would mess with the differentials front to rear.

    I don’t think so but I guess if the size difference was too large it’s possible.

    Can anyone tell me how they were able to get the rear shock back into place? I have no leverage to push down on it and slide it back into place like I did the front using the screwdriver. I've even taken the entire shock off to connect it completely at the top and disconnected it from the bottom to see if I could gain some leverage that way but I'm stuck I still can't get it to compress back into place unfortunately.😳

  • @DieselLegiance

    I think I just jacked the rear up in the middle which allowed the wheels to hang freely just off the ground which allowed me some leverage to Maneuver the shocks into place.

    @@DieselLegiance I have my bike jacked up in the rear with a small transmission jack and the the problem is I have no wiggle adjustment room from what I can see. It would appear that the shock would need to be compressed some how similar to what you did in the front but my screwdriver can't gain any leverage without the shock slipping out of place.

    @@DieselLegiance Question if I tighten the shock would it make the length of it shorter or just simply make the spring tighter without any change to it's length?

  • @DieselLegiance

    @DieselLegiance

    I might help, or try to loosen it all the way which may allow more compression to slide into place. Or, try to jack it up a little higher.

    @@DieselLegiance Ok I'll try jacking it up I know it can't be but so hard. I'm just ready to be finished in all honesty. By the way did you turn all of your shocks to the left when you made the springs tighter?
