Hi, Thanks for suggestion, I'm going to do a tutorial in the next few weeks. However, you do not need any hardware interface, just activate the Diagbox software option to adjust the clock and display settings with the steering wheel controls.

Wow, really?... So you're saying that I don't need additional hardware? If that's the case, then that is awesome! Because, I read on forums that said that an aftermarket module/hardware, called "PC99-X44" (X44 being specifically for Peugeot) from brands such as «Connects2» or «Autoleads» should be bought, in order to do that very same feature... And that bloody module costs like nearly 100 Euros/90 Pounds!... My car is a 307 SW (2006)

Hey Adrian, your videos are great, they helped me a lot. Did you ever had an issue with activation of AUX2 in RD4 from 2012? With Lexia I can change input from mode missing to reserved to kml/nomad. My original handsfree radio works well, through aux1, but i also want to actvate AUX2 to use aux cable from headphone jack. Lexia works well because when I am changing aux1 from kml/nomad to conventional, I can choose aux input on my radio, but I i have still missing AUX2 when changing source of my radioreceiver.

Hello. I don't really understand why it doesn't work. But don't you have RCA plugs for AUX in in the glove box?

I already have an aux connection in the glove compartment, but want to add a BT to aux device close to the radio. If I add similar cable to the one you used in this video, would it still need activating, even though the current aux works fine? Cheers!

Hello. Your car already has the AUX IN function activated, so you don't have to activate it anymore. Just plug in the Bluetooth module and it will work fine.

Hello. Diagbox only works with the dedicated interface connected to a computer on which you installed Diagbox.

Does diagbox allow you to select aux in as default on the radio? My radio comes with aux built in but have to change from fm radio to aux in every time I turn on ignition.

I bought a 2009 Peugeot 308 with RD4 radio and the previous owner had already installed the AUX cable. I connected my phone with Spotify playing songs and it plays fine, however the controls behind the steering wheel don't work. I can raise the volume from the radio knob, but not from the controls behind the steering wheel, and next or previous song I have to do it on the phone. You're raising the volume from behind the wheel in the video. The car reads the AUX input so I guess it's already activated with Diagbox.

I don't know why you can not adjust the volume from the controls behind the steering wheel, however when using the AUX IN function thet next or previous song can only be used on the phone.

Mine is like that PLEASE let me know if and how it got fixed. I bout an RCA to lightning cable for my iphone hopng it would allow me to connect but I do not get any sound. It is AUX 2 only available. I own a 2011 Peugoet 308 cc. The display screen is orange LED. No usb slots or anything. Much appreciated.

I brought a bluetooth thing u put in the car cigarette lighter socket much easier but the only thing u got to do is pair it with bluetooth with your mobile phone

hello so i just did all this but when the diagbox is connected and i go to radio menu it works perfectly just like in the video but when i disconnect the diagbox it seems like the radio is deactivated i cant turn it on anyway and when i go to menu screen with the multifunction screen audio setting is like creyed out if that maxes sense. i have also tryed to disconect the aux and revert the change in ecu but the problem percists. any help would be apreciated.

How do I know if AUX is activated? Just bought the car and when I select source I can choose from radio and aux. That means it must be activated right?

If you already have AUX in the menu, you don't need to activate it with Diagbox.

Hey Adrian, I recently bought a 207 Sport. I tried to connect with the aux port but it didnt work. Then I bought a 12-pin aux cable and installed it like you in this video. The aux 1 input was already activated when I bought the car but it still doesnt work. Tried with two different phones (iOS and android) but there was no sound coming out of the speakers. Could it be that the radio is faulty? Also, the seller I bought the cable from said it works for 207 RD4 from Bosch, but my RD4 is from Continental. Could that also be an issue?

Hello. There are two AUX IN. I think your cable is configured for AUX 2, I don't think the radio can be faulty. One more thing: did you say that you already have AUX IN activated, you don't have two RCA plugs in the glove box?

@@AdrianDragan Thanks for the reply Adrian. Yes, AUX IN was already activated (I bought the car used) but I dont have two RCA plugs in the glove box. Only one AUX IN in the middle console at the bottom, next to a USB port. (just behind the gearshifting stick). But that AUX port didnt work, so I bought the cable. When I press the 'source' button on the radio it changes between radio and AUX IN 1. So I did the same like you in the video. (same spot for the 12 pin connector) I am really clueless atm.

I've just taking my radio out and the back of it already has a plug in the place you put yours there is a spare one next to it tho

Yes, the volume on Aux IN was a little bit lower than on Radio or CD. But for me it was enough.

Yes, when upgrading to an RD45, you need to reprogram it. I assume you had an RD3 or an RD4 previously installed. Fortunately, doing such a thing at a qualified Peugeot mechanic doesn't cost much.

I got an RCA to lightning cable for my iphone 13. I had the AUX 1 and 2 enabled but no audio works. I checked the cable on another stereo so the cable works but now I have no idea what to do next. @@AdrianDragan I did, I think what has happened is the previous owner installed a PARROT hands free phone kit and it got connected to the radio so the RCA slots are not operatable now. I will need to unplug the parrot and see what is going on.

Hi, Maybe the cable is faulty. Disconnect it from the audio drive and try to plug in the phone, see if the same thing happens.

Try doing this setting without the AUX cable inserted into the drive. If it does not work it means that the car radio does not allow this activation, although I have not encountered this error so far on Aux In 1. What car and what radio do you have?

Hi, I've got a 207 with a Rd4N1M-03 radio(that's what's written in the side label). I just want to connect a usb without losing wheel controls etc. What do you think is the best and easiest option?(I've never done anything like this in a car). Would this work for my car? I just received the Bluetooth module from AliExpress for the rd4 in a c2 and I'm going to test it today... From a first look the only difference I can see is that the Bluetooth module also needs 12v from the battery or a 12v rail nearby the radio. I haven't removed my radio to see if it's easy enough but I guess it'll be, even if you don't use a soldering tool to make it look like an OEM's job. It cost me 6.73€ shipping included and I live in South Europe. Took 23 days to be delivered. I'll let you know the results soon.

@@amirbazzi1718 Yes of course. I've installed it and it works fine. I used two Scotch locks for the two power wires of the Bluetooth module. I Scotch locked the red wire with the +12v wire of the radio and the black wire with the radio's gnd wire so as the module gets power same time as the radio. Really easy and took me less than 20 minutes including the aux source activation. The adapter I've installed a.aliexpress.com/_d6GGhHa The locks I've used a.aliexpress.com/_dT5xx9a

Hello. It probably sounds crazy, but check if you have the maximum volume on the phone and radio on the car. If it does not work, the cable may not be good.

The strange problem with bluetooth. You can install USB music reader, but it must be enabled CD charger function (with Diagbox) in the car computer.

hello i took the radio out and there was already a socket in the place. It is all wrapped in tape so couldnt find where it went do you know what its for? no aux anywhere else in the car btw

Hello. Remove that socket from the large socket. That socket is for AUX IN equipment but was not installed at the factory, so it is unusable. You can plug the plug into your cable instead of that white socket.

Hello! If you disconnect the radio from the power supply you do not need any PIN code, the radio security is based on VIN (vehicle identification number).

Hello. As far as I know these bluetooth radios are only for calls and cannot be used for streaming music, most likely you should replace the original radio with an RD45 that has a built-in bluetooth module compatible with streaming music, see in my video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGl4ls6sfKrdhs4.html
