Thanks Man, this was a good quick video install without all the fluff usually associated with these type videos. Got me a 2023 SG Whiskey neat Raven Metallic....That black will go nicely. I might try an clean that cut out little piece on the plate maybe even add a dab of silicone so it doesn't chaff the wire. Thanks again

Chris, saw your vid and added the black plate frame and holder my 2024 Street Glide. Totally pumped with the clean look. Thanks! Just one item and I cannot remember if I saw this in your vid but: The license plate needs some minor cutting at the top where the wire threads through under the fender. The license plate has the wire which is designed to fit into the slot in the underside of the frame but where the hole in the fender is located it needs to tuck under the fender. The minor cut in the frame lets this happen.

It’s nice to know I can install this in my socks 😊. Easy install except for the trimming of the license plate. You’d thought that CD would have considered this in their engineering, however I guess every state has a different size? I’d be worried that the rough cut edges would fray my wires? The finished product looks great! Thanks for the content.

Greetings! New subscriber! Gorgeous Scoot my brother (and thanks for the install video). Just got my 2024 Road Glide CVO (Copperhead) last Saturday. I'm going to order the Custom Dynamics License Plate assembly mount and frame w/light today. Spent this weekend painting (or blacking-out) some accessories that I took of my 17 RG Special (foot pegs, 4-point Docking Hardware , Factory 47 handle bars). Bought the 10 inch splitter and H-D Gloss Black Rear Saddlebag Guards (on backorder... they said maybe July??). I did buy H-D Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather Extreme when I picked-up the scoot but haven't installed it yet. Really want the 121 badging on it but we all know it doesn't exist...unless you bought CVO ST (ridiculous). Question: Do you actually need the tuner? I know it's suggested but the CVO ST doesn't come with the tuner but has the Heavy Breather Extreme. Oh yeah, I got the Tab Performance 50 Cal slip-ons w/Zombie baffles....they are the truth!! Only have 14 miles on her so far so I need to get this "break-in period, with the crazy break-in instructions over with asap! lol Ride Easy- BigDog

I appreciate it. Thank you 🙏🏾 I really wish HD would push out more accessories and I’m waiting on more rear break light options for the original style in smoked from HD. Custom Dynamics makes a set for the 23/24’s called fillerz. But the sit deep inside vs. the current flush. I may get anyway.

I am wondering if the step of removing the plastic cover over the wire was necessary? Could you not just fish the plug through the hole and back in once done? I just worry about messing with the cover and having it fall off or not seal well. Great look 1000% times better than the eye sore\knee basher of the stock setup :)

Thank you. I appreciate it. Yes. There are many ways this could be installed even easier. It was straight forward. I really like just showing viewer what the parts look like removed or underneath just to give a head start of the level of ease.

I see you have a wrapped light on the tour pack as well. Was it plug and play or do the 24 require anything additional electrical wise.

If you order the advanblack tour pack light, it comes with the harness needed for any light used and it comes with the drilling template needed to mount any LED light. Hey Chris, quick question. I see you put the signature bag lights on the new bags. I just bought a CVO and want to use them but wasn't sure of the fit, not to mention they have discontinued them but I can find them at some stores. How do they fit the bags? Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out. I make and sell a 12 pin to 6 pin harness connector (the original creator with the most heavy duty harness) so that owners could use all there old parts and parts on amazon, etc. (ChrisGlides@gmail.com) On the initial video I used flex tape. Since then I found some neater thicker two sided tape on amazon. I purchased all of these to see what fit best and what would be great in all weather. It was successful even with flex tape as even the original stick is M3 tape. @@ChrisGlides Yea I ended up buying them although I did really like the Harley Signature ones. I actually bought the Signature panel fillers and am going to take off the Stock 24 CVO lights. I am going to unplug them, take them off, get the male end JAE plug for the signature filler lights and put them on and connect them that way. Should work.

I have a 2024 Street Glide. When I go to order this license plate kit online (Custom Dynamics) it's asking if I want the CVO License Plate Assembly. Do I need both pieces for my bike or can I just order the gloss black license plate assembly? I'm confused on whether I need the CVO pieces for my regular Street Glide.

Yeah but the most of the bike parts are made in China as well. Majority of things now days. They hold a large amount of Americas pen land and agricultural area now.

Have you had the check engine and low voltage warning come on yet? Took mine 20 minutes. All the gauges stopped working and no radio.

Yes. I use a 5amp min battery tender and keep connected but even still it will go down.
