Excellent information. I have a 2004 Volvo XC70 Automatic. I bought a Kenwood DMX7017DABS aftermarket stereo. Is this the same installation or is there anything different? I take it you disconnected the battery first with key in position 2?? Any info much appreciated.

You also say about CCM being connected before battery (-) terminal is plugged. Do you mean ensuring the CCM is connected prior to the battery being connected at the end.

Same installation method regardless of the stereo you have. The battery terminal needs to be unplugged before you start the installation.

Put car on handbrake and move gear to Neutral, then unplug the battery as it would help with space required for installation. All the best.

Hello, I followed your directions the only thing I did differently was connect the blue amp wires together so they weren't hanging freely. I also connected the ground wire from the SWC wires to the ground on the main radio plug. I have 2008 XC90 with amp. I am installing a Seicane android head unit. When I was messing with radio I disconnected the fiber optic cable why key was in on position so I have the SRS light on. Which is no problem. The problem I am having is after connecting all the wire per your video. My head unit doesn't turn on and I have no dash lights, my heat controls don't work, the buttons for the doors or windows aren't working. I checked the fuses and they are not blown. I will give it a better look in the morning it was dark and cold outside. I'm hoping I missed something but I don't believe I did. Do you know anything about connecting a backup camera. I connected the reverse(pink) wire from head unit to the purple and white wire on the CTMULTILEAD.2 but where do I connect the red power wire that is connected to the yellow rca jack from the camera. Thanks in advance

Plug the wire label ''Back/Reverse'' (coming from 16pin connector harness) with Purple/white wire from (CTSVL004.2) kit. When you say Ground from swc kit wire is connected to stereo, you mean you have connected ground to 16pin harness? But did you connect the android stereo power wires to cigarette lighter red/black? Also please confirm that you have two fibre loops plugged, one under driver seat, other fibre loop on dvd module. Third fibre that you unplug from icm stays, as icm screen has to be kept in. I made the whole connection only that my device already has iso connected from the factory. after I connected everything, my board doesn't work anymore and the radio doesn't even turn on! if I send you an email with some pictures maybe you can give me some advice on what I didn't do well please ! thank you!

Feel free to get in touch, khandiy7 at Gmail, however bit confused about what do mean by board doesn't work? The factory radio ICM screen is not used once aftermarket radio is plugged in, but you keep the icm screen behind and bypass with Connects2 kit.

what is the difference with 2003 model? is it possible to instal with the same material and instructions?

Did everything with all cables as per video but does not come on. Am I missing a cable to power the unit? Chinese model

Check the volvo wiring diagram page VS connects2 kit and double check all connections. Hope this information helps

@@RizwanKhan-dx3lu yes I contact technical support and message after showing photos and giving information is that the interfaces don t work on android device . Message here : What we deduce from the photos sent and what it tells us that when removing the din connector it stops sounding is because it has an amplified system finish, we see that the CTSVL002.2 interface is not compatible with the original system, because the original equipment has a superior finish and connects does not contemplate a system that adapts it. We see that the Android radio came with termination of connections for the volvo, but as with the connects interface it does not make your system compatible either. We suggest that you refer the inquiry to the dealer where you purchased the radio in case it has a compatible finish. a greeting SAT DEF

Connects2 kit has no effect on ccm, check your wiring, did you kept the Tiny ICM tucked behind the stereo?
