Hi there, yes, you can connect your camera to your phone, then use the app to control the camera.

Hi, please allow us to explain this feature: We have optimized the all-new PureShot algorithm to reduce noise and enhance image details. As a result, the camera would display black and white preview images when shooting under 72mp 360 mode and 36mp wide-angle mode. If you prefer to have a regular color preview, you can select the "insp + raw" mode under the shooting format in order to capture photos. You can try viewing and exporting files normally by enabling the PureShot feature in the Insta360 App or Studio. ​​@@insta360tutorialsI experience the same behaviour and one other observation is that 36MP & 72MP photos are not opening in the app on mobile due to mobile limitations. It says open on the computer. Please explain. Whether it is for all mobiles or low configuration mobiles. What is the basic requirement of mobile to edit it in mobile app?

Hello, You can export the video after turning off the watermark option in the app settings page.

While recording them is not that hard, I find post-production really difficult. I did assume prior to purchase that I could just post-produce it on my phone. 10 mins down the line, my phone heats up to a point that I have to stop using it. In addition to this, I have to now get a new laptop since my current one isn't powerful enough to do post-production on my videos. I suppose 40 mins video on every dive (i.e. scuba diving) won't work well if you don't have a powerful PC. Until now, 25 dives later, I still have not made a single post-production video. 🙃

I find it note worthy insta360 reply to almost all messages but choose to ignore your comment.. Inst are continuously ignoring the basics and user friendly details... Let's face it... Insta360 is for KZreadrs and Instagram posters with production teams.

What phone do you have? Sorry if this wasn't clear, but editing insta360 footage requires significant processing power. Recent mobile phones in the mid-to-top range should generally work fine. Budget phones may not. The same goes for laptops 😅

@@insta360tutorials I have iPhone 11 PRO. My apology that as per your response, my phone would be considered an old low range budget phone. As it stands now, the insta360 x3 can just sit nicely in my drawer until the latest iPhone comes in September. Thank you for your clarification.
