This was a very good movie. I hate that these movies don't get the recognition they deserve. Many people past by these type of movies because they're low budget, or black movies, and the sad thing is its many black people who do this. My message to my fellow black sisters and brothers is to support our own filmmakers, because if we don't who will? We can't trust other races to support these type of movies as we support theirs. I look forward to watching many more of these movies to come. Great job filmmakers!..

I hate being right. Its just that black people are so critical on our own. We dont support black business enough. If its low budget, or for clothing store owners, we say the venue was too ghetto, or in a bad area, but not thinking of the reasons why. If we support black business as we do for white business, or even other races of business owners we wouldnt have to worry about the low budget movies, or cheap venues, and such. Look at Lee Daniels, and Tyler Perry, Shit even Oprah. Who supported Oprah first before she became a mogul? Black people. The problem is we cant forget where we came from ,and who helped us succeed when we do come up. Thats another problem we have in the black community...

Lj Jones so that mean that there were no upper class or middle class black families? I don't go by whos in the audience i go by the many black people i know including my mom who watched Oprah religiously. Not by all means am i saying that no other races supported her, i am only stating that the majority who supported her were black families...

Good movie that brings back the pains of my past. They wrong for that wig they got her in, they know they could've done better than that. My mother's brother was touching me inappropriately & because he was my mother's brother, she chose to ignore it, even called me crazy. He still tries it to this day whenver there is a family reunion or a family get together. Everyone can see the truth but her. I was so angry about it growing up until I became destructive to myself & others. To make a long story short, I gave it to Jesus because if I didn't, I would be hating her for life. Now, I deal with it better. But I still need Jesus to heal my heart because sometimes I lapse.

Jennifer's Empire, I will pray for you, myself, and others that are struggling with some kind of addiction. The addiction I struggle from is LOVE. I put others before myself and it cost me self enjoyment. You're gonna have to seek help, pray, fast, and cry out to God. Stay away from toxic people and environments. It's a daily journey that's hard and doesn't feel good. With time and perseverance, it will get easier and you will appreciate it. You must continue once you start until Jesus return. The first step starts with you. Another thing too, you're hurting from your addiction but your addiction hurts others too. Lots of love and hugs to you always 💞.

I think Black middle school and high school students should see these films and write an essay assignment.about the characters, the breakdown of family, the strength and weaknesses but also the foundation of family, learning, and the hurt and the healing that is very much a part of life and demonstrated in this film. A very good film!!

It is sad that she didn't tell her mother, but I know from experience, that you feel like you will be blamed and called a whore, though you in fact, was a virgin.

All I thought of was the baby boy they lost, but it seems she lost the baby before she got back on drugs. And yes this young lady was a beautiful inspiration with her faith. ✌❤🙏

Damn good quality movie , there's always a great message there to wake people up to mental illness like bipolar. I was also diagnosed with it as well. So I do understand this on a level that most wouldn't understand. And I got the help that I needed. It hasn't been easy , however by the Grace of the Most High as guided me. And I'm still dealing with it everyday. Praise GOD and I'm longer a victim but a Victor. 💪🏾✊🏾👊🏾☝🏾I've got my victory
