So my oldest kid has just brought himself this BMW 120d. Today I'm just doing a run through of the basics to consider inspecting when you've just purchased a new vehicle. This list is not by all means everything - some vehicles may have different requirements. However this list will get you looking all over your new vehicle and sometimes you can be surprised at the little things that you will find. This will start painting the mechanical picture in your head of the overall condition of your vehicle and how much the previous owner really did look after their vehicle.

Im going through the same process on the VR Calais sending it in for a 28 point Thursday To drain the diff is 1 of those lower bolts a drain plug?

You know what, I didn’t even think about trying one of the lower bolts. Might work, might not. I’ll try and remember to check it next service
