We've got those kinds of stupid laws in Canada too. You can drink in your backyard, but don't you DARE go OUTSIDE the boundaries of your fence, sir! And if you cross the street to the empty field and have a drink with a friend.... look out! Like, come on. How stupid.
You guys are one of my favorite metal bands along with Be'lakor and Withering. That would make a great show. At least it was Texas and surprised that anyone knew of your band during that interaction. Almost any other state here it would not have worked out the same if involved with the fuzz

Oh noooo! I remember the first time I heard that it was illegal in the U.S. to drink in the open public I was told by a friend of mine. I got bummed out but I was fortunate enough to find out first by my friend because if not I probably would have gotten arrested.

Yeah drinking outside in public in the US is strange and varies by each municipality. In New Orleans Louisiana; no problem. In all of Utah, big problem. And then you can have drinks in outdoor cafes, in some places, but only within the confines of certain nebulous borders of the cafe... it's a mess.
😂 you must have heard about or seen on tv americans drinking alcohol poorly hidden in paper bags.
