Saw you in Trier a week ago. You guys are legends! Listened to your music in 2009 in a small city in Tunisia, 14 years later I had the privilege to see you live!

Thank you so much for the music, for the shows, for a great end of the year when it comes to concerts. It's been a really rough couple of years when it comes to traveling for concerts, with money drying up in STEM, all costs going up at the same time and on top of that so much unreliability when it comes to transportation and so many events getting cancelled or postponed on a short notice. So I'm immensely grateful you've made my final couple of concert trips of the year be worth it. Thank you! And thank you for giving me the excuse to return next year to one of my favourite places on Earth, Umeå! This time when it's not dark and freezing and buried in snow... 🤭 Happy holidays and see you in 2024!

I was trying to find bands like you guys based on recommendations on Tidal. They're terrible, really. And I'm talking giants like Dark Tranquility and stuff. Noone can compose melodies so perfect and create sound so deep on artistic and emotional level. This goes way beyond music. I've heard While we Sleep by accident somewhere and couldn't forget it for weeks until I found out what's the band name. You're the perfect ballance between terms "melodic" and "death metal". Not being a fan of growl (with exception of Peter from Vader, who BTW comes from Poland just like me), your vocalists are incredible and perfectly fit in the whole project. Instrumentals obviously are top of the top. Being a guitarist myself, I listened to Dream Theater for about 15 years (until Portnoy left) day and night because many of their songs were just perfect for me. I listened to something of theirs for the first time and they played exactly what I wished the perfect song had in it. I thought "now my perfect song would go like..." and bam, they did exactly the best I could've imagine plus much more. You guys do exactly that with your compositions, melodies etc. Words cannot explain that. And I'm saying this after listening to you since at least 2015 so don't think that's some spare of the moment kind of comment. After years and years, Insomnium brings me closest to that feeling of perfection and not needing another, better band to fill the void I felt after Dream Theater. I should say thank you I guess, but I'll say: take my money and make more.
