IDLE introduced themselves as all representing a different charm in the group back when they first debuted, so that's what is meant by concept :) That's part of why their name means 6 different individuals too, cause they represent different thingd Yuqi is actually the lead vocalist idk why it said sub they might've gotten their information from kprofiles or something but she is the lead vocalist Yuqi only became the main dancer after Soojin left, prior to that she was the lead dancer Yeah the center, face of the group, visual fiasco is confusing but I'll try to explain: Face of the group = Goes on the most variety shows to represent the group on tv Center = The center in like choreo and whenever they have to get into a linear position and stuff Visual = Represents the visuals of the group Yes we're OT6 and fans have done extensive research to prove soojin's innocence ! soojin is going to be debuting as a solo artist! althought i will forever be angered by how she was treated, i'm excited to hear her voice again. to explain the situation basically there were 3 accusers, one being soojin's former school friend from when she was 12, her sister, and an actress by the name of seo shinae. now the apparent victim and her sister never actually had any beef with soojin. soojin said they had a falling out in school because the "victim" didn't pay soojin back for some juice or something (it was something stupid like that) soojin then said she did curse at her but that was that and they basically went there separate ways. also i should mention that in soojin's first statement she was actually made aware that this would possibly happen, she was texted by some former school friends who said someone had been reaching out to them for pictures of soojin when she was at school. take that information how you want but it's giving blackmail now this is were it should've been over and done with but then we have actress seo shinae. during the weeks all this evidence of soojin's alleged school violence was dropping seo shinae was posting some cryptic ig posts hinting about her bullies getting their karma. she had talked about how she been bullied by a group of people in school. although no names were mentioned, knetz deducted it was soojin due to the fact that they went to the same school and it fit right in with soojin's current allegations. months passed, soojin left and people still didn't know the truth. until about a year or so ago (i think) a fan was talking to seo shinae on ig trying to find out everything and she eventually admitted that she had no idea that soojin was even apart of the group that bullied her, this pissed a lot of people off because she easily could've said that before but she didn't. iirc this year the police investigation was closed due to the fact that nothing could be proven as these were 10 year old events and no physical evidence.

It really sucks that she had to deal with this and leave her group with no evidence of wrongdoing. I'm glad the group is still on great terms, and she will still get to debut and be an idol!

Gidle actually wasn't all that popular when queendom aired they came from a broke ass company and queendom was the way for them to get their name out there and it worked cause even though they weren't the winners, they're the only ones people still talk about when they mention queendom for the most part cause their stages are the only ones that went viral

Cube is like a mid size company not apart of the big 4, not all their groups are able to be as successful. Gidle was actually not able to debut until Soyeon created their debut song because the company had no idea what they were going to do with the group. The girls mentioned recently that all the people that thought Latata wasn't a good title track no longer work at Cube lol. I think Soyeon is the center because she created the name, the debut song, she has a lot to do with the creation of the groups identity. She also doesn't fit the Korean beauty standards especially when they debuted she was still being called ugly from her pervious shows she was on. Thats likely why she never got a visual position. Minnie and Yuqi have only created b sides while Soyeon has created all the Korean tittle tracks. Miyeon and Shuhua are actually the tom and jerry of the group suprised they didn't include it in this guide because they always have it in their I-talk (behind the scenes series) of Miyeon and Shuhua being Tom and Jerry. I recommend watching their i-talk for the I want that music video part 1 is out not sure when part 2 will be released yet.

WOW, thank you for this information! Soyeon is an awesome songwriter and rapper, but apparently, that's just scratching the surface. I've never heard of a debut story like this in kpop. They're truly self-made.

I mean, technically Cube WERE apart of the Big 4, until HYBE/BigHit hit it big with BTS. Still, Cube is still probably 5th in terms of the major K-pop Companies.

@tjsquibbofficial are you sure about that? I was under the impression that companies like FNC were more profitable than cube and were larger. This year is the first time cube has had a group sell over a million copies of an album as well. Aren't there a few other mid size companies more successful than cube especially in 2018? Things might have changed by now with the rise and fall of so many companies.

Queendom is a competition show, they're compete with mamamoo, oh my girl and others which also a famous group. The show was in 2019, at that time gidle is actually struggling with some controversy (can't remember) and actually cube is not a big company as we thought so the girls need to find other way to promote them self. queendom is actually help them to overcome some problems and gain their popularity. Speaking about cube, their management are horrible. Gidle almost cant debut because cube can't afford a song for them, that why soyeon decided to wrote her own song and make their own music. Big4 kpop company is yg,jyp,sm,hype. Cube is a small company that almost bankrupt because of mismanagement for their 3rd gen gg (CLC) until gidle or soyeon specifically save them. That's why we called gidle is the most independent girl group in kpop nowdays

Hello! Thank you so much for watching my video. I never expected anyone to react to it, much less see it! I love graphic design and I got into Kpop last year, and seeing all of the guides floating around youtube made me want to make one for my ult group! When I listed specific concepts for the members, they aren’t official titles but rather concepts that they tend to fit into onstage. This plays into their group name’s meaning of different individuals coming together. For example, Miyeon will dance in a more elegant way, Minnie’s dreamy voice is likened to a siren, and so on. When I made this video a few months ago, I didn’t fully explain some of the member positions- especially since titles of “main” “lead” and “sub” are being used less and less in Kpop. Yuqi used to be the Lead Dancer, but since Soojin’s departure she has become the new Main Dancer. From there it is a bit murky with information, as some sources will say Yuqi is a Lead Rapper and Lead Vocalist, while others say she is only at a Sub level (imo she probably is at a lead level for both, I'll probably edit my video to say that) As for some of the other positions, Miyeon and Shuhua are visuals, meaning that they fit the Korean Beauty Standard the most. Soyeon having the center position means that she is placed in the center of formations of broadcasts and photoshoots, as centers have excellent stage presence. As for Yuqi’s title of “Face of the Group”, it doesn’t have to do with KBS or formations. Instead, FotG describes an outgoing member that often represents the group as a whole in variety shows. They are usually the most popular member, as they are the member that often comes to people’s minds when they think of the group (like Nayeon from Twice or Chuu from Loona). center is not just soyeon being in the "center" position, being the center means what the group most liking what to show, like representing the group image as persona and in (G)I-DLE soyeon as a center represents the group color as talented and charismatic face of the group is different from visual of the group, visual plays the role as the prettiest and what the korean beauty standard loves(shuhua & miyeon), while face of the group(yuqi) is someone who represents the group in different various platform especially in variety and in this case yuqi showcases the groups personality

I don’t know why they put all those titles, but Yuqi is the lead dancer(maybe she’s gonna become main dancer after Soojin left)and lead vocalist, while Minnie and Miyeon are the main vocalists, with Shuhua and Soojin as sub vocalists(Soojin as the main dancer also), finally Soyeon is the leader, center, main rapper of the group, (G)-Idle hasn’t had any sub-rap

Yuqi was a lead vocalist and lead dancer but she became main dancer after soojin leave. Soyeon is the center means the arrangement of gidle she is in the middle. its means they will standing starting from miyeon,minnie,soyeon,yuqi and shuhua (she is in the center😂). Also for the dancing arrangement Face of the group means during their 1st-3rd years in industry, yuqi is the one who will promoting their comeback in other variety show. I-DLEの公式動画を全部見ていたらわかると思いますが、TOMBOYの時の手のボーズは最初はあれではなく「銃の形」のポーズにする予定でしたが、シュファだけが指が曲がれないで「銃の仕草」が出来ない事が判明し急遽変更しただけの話です。 スジンの脱退はメンバー間で揉めたわけではないから、その後も各メンバー（特にPDであるソヨン）は仲間だと思っているので、「スジン＝狐のお面」ってのはデビュー前から知られている事なので、MVなどでさりげなく小物として登場してますし、TOMBOYのラストで車のトランクから風船が６個出てくるのもソヨンPDの演出です。 スジンの脱退は「虚偽だという事を証明するには裁判で戦うしかないから、解決まで長い時間を要する」という事で事務所側としても苦渋の決断（スジンと真剣に話し合った）となりましたが、最初はスジンを退所ではなく休止状態にしようとしましたが、スジン自身が悩んだ末に「メンバーに迷惑をかけたくないから自分が脱退、退所します」って事になりました。 今でもスジンと各メンバーは仲がいい状態なのは言うまでもないです。

グループ紹介時の各自のポジションは、あくまでもデビュー当時のポジションで、その後はどのグループにも言える事ですが、ある程度の固定ポジションのままのグループもありますが、曲によってポジションが変わったりする時があるので、特殊なニックネーム的なポジションじゃない限り気にしない方がいいと思います。 KPOPガールズ・グループの中では「I-DLE」は、ソヨンが２２年に事務所内に独立部署を作り、それまでの通称PDから全責任を持つ「統括プロデューサー（JYPのパクPDと同じ感じ）」となり「完全なアーティスト・グループ」になった事で、各自がもっと色々な事にもチャレンジしてほしいって事で、曲の中でみんながラップパートを持ったりするような「ハイレベルでのオールラウンダー・シンガー・グループ」になりましたし、他のKPOPのメンツもそうですが、将来の事を考えて作詞・作曲（著作権がある）の勉強をしている人は多いですし、ソロや俳優などで活動していく事も考えてますね。

Center tends to go to the one that’s most charismatic or best stage presence so tends to be the center inn choreo a lot and face of the group tends to be the one that most get sent out to tv shows and stuff and represents the group typically most extroverted funny or outgoing although I feel like nowadays miyeon could be considered the new face of the group because she goes out on a lot of shows and mcs for mcountdown but from debut it was originally Yuqi and Yuqi is also the lead dancer not main dancer but they do hav e two main vocalist Minnie and miyeon

Oh, I certainly didn't mean that there are no exceptions to those beauty standards. I know of quite a few idols who don't fit the mold. That's so upsetting that someone with that much talent got hate for something as trivial as physical appearance. Not that it matters, but she's very pretty. That's so ridiculous
