To be Lucian Freud’s daughter and Sigmund Freud’s granddaughter is a whole other level of nepotism baby that transcends the term itself.

I’ve never heard of this lady, but I could literally just hear her talk all day because she’s so interesting and who doesn’t love an accent, of course

You must be American. She's a phenomenon. But then again Americans are often clueless about UK culture, fashion designers, artists unless they open a shop in NYC or have loads of reviews in US media. It's a pity really. I agree, she's wonderful to listen to. Beautiful mind.

@@gnarbeljo8980 wow brilliantly rude! Not the whole world spins around the UK , you know… shocking eh??! Not only in America the UK culture is not so popular but in many many places in the world. Sigmund Freud is more famous than this really adorable lady (I did love her!) and guess what… - he’s not english either! So if there’s something England certainly is famous for - well, for the rude cold people ;) Just a European opinion. Before you jump on me how I know nothing - I’ve been living in London for years.

@@elinaned728 to be fair “who doesn’t love an accent” is borderline rude. What accent? For anyone in the UK, Bella’s ‘accent’ is not even a thing… This type of remark is very much an American-ism. And just because you don’t know BF that doesn’t mean she’s not famous, in her own merits. For someone living in the UK you sound quite resentful.
Wow what a family lineage...I like how she's carved out her own aesthetic though
i absolutely love seeing designers homes and hearing them talk about items and experiences. theyre so unique and often quirky... its great. you can see theyre true creatives..
She is a genius. Her eye for things - it's magic. And the things that she feels, the depth in that understanding of them, a very, very rare quality.
The cadence, the crystal clear but druggy monotone of her voice combined with her magnificent poker face makes her seem so sinister and creepy. I find her mesmerising, no matter how banal the monologue or anecdote. I'm interested in a bit of whimsy swirled into female menace mixed with great tailoring. I wish her great granddad were around to help me with this...

To a degree, it appears, she's become her father.
I could listen to her all day long. Her talk is like a lullaby.
She is incredibly calming and gentle 😊
She reminds me so much of Charlotte Gainsbourg and they also seem to have very similar tastes, they could get along well.
she's so calm and quiet, i admire her for that
Confidence, nonchalance, individuality. That's what I see and it's stunning. 😂😂❤
Lovely voice -- and the pale blue suit is exactly as she describes it to be. And that isn't just any pale blue, which is what makes it so striking.
that was fantastic! Like Christina commented earlier, she is so easy to listen to and I love her objects of affection.

You're so cute for referring to a previous commenter by her name rather than saying "like someone commented earlier." You have me like "oh yes, Christina. Her comment. So true." Love it.
What a fabulous person Bella Freud is- she has a fantastic eye and her design choices are so offbeat.
She’s amazing. I could listen to her forever
Best story I've heard in a bloody long time, these spaces are dripping in sensational heritage / classic artfully irreverent, but to sit in that armchair without smoking... I must protest
What a gorgeous woman! I loved hearing the story of how the drawing of her name with the whippet came about 🥰
I have just officially fallen in love with Bella Freud this morning she is brilliant ❤
What a joy watching this was. Honestly. Lovely human.
It's so lovely to head about her relationship with her father, it melts my heart 🩷 also her style is so impeccable, you can really see that is not an obsession what she has for suits, it's pure love 🩷
True creative! Loved this episode.
WOW WOW WOW love the colors and airiness of the space ♥️
Never heard of her and I LOVED meeting her! Bring more people like her Vogue!
Those chairs are everything!
Omg! I love the artist Lucien Freud. I love Bella, my friend worked for her in the 90s, I remember her studio in Ladbroke Grove and Ossie Clarke use to be there. She is a fabulous designer and such talent. I would love to collaborate with her.
I enjoyed her objects of affection. Eclectic gems!
I really like her house and also she's gorgeous 😻🫀
I absolutely enjoyed this woman so much! I had seen the brand and thought it was a made up name... I can spend hours listening to her and her stories and actually anything she says.
This was very enjoyable. Thank you!
Peter Rabbit's jacket was not pale blue, more like cerulean! Bella's jumpers are legendary and I love the fact she owns her face and has such style and confidence in her uniqueness, so many women now look the same they could almost be interchangeable with their swollen lips and other cosmetic procedures. Like Bella, I am not traditionally beautiful and she makes me feel that it's OK and even to be celebrated, so thank you.

I love Bella in the Leigh Bowery documentary
“I always wanted to wear a school uniform but my progressive school abolished them“ No matter our upbringing, rich or poor, we’ll always find something to rebel against, hilarious.
She's amazing and genuinely love my 1970 Jumper so much! Best quality item I own and have other designer items in my closet...
Her great grandfather was a great legend and her father was a legend. Superb !
This video make me smile
I just died and woke up a little. I don't know if I am jealous, or in love.

Bella, if you mean by you haven't read a Freud book that you haven't read one of his books, read my favorite, "Civilization and Its Discontents." You and your family are fascinating, brilliant people.

Lucian, my favourite artist.

I love Lucian Freud art, but I’m not familiar with his personal life, family etc…as soon as she said who was her dad, it all made sense. Plus they have the same face feature, her whole persona is exactly like her father’s paintings
Her floor is lava!
