There's no point trying to find English food in Luton as you'd have to go to an English town for that. (Just in case you're not aware, despite many towns being geographically located on English land, they couldn't be further from being an actual English town.) In fact, to be accurate, you should really remove the English flag fron your past few titles as many would see it as an insult to use it when the content of all your England videos has such little relation to anything English. There's plenty of stunning English places and people to enjoy so it's a shame you've missed out on experiencing England. You should really consider visiting actual England at some point to soak in the culture as much of the modern world you are used to is based off it so it's very interesting.

@@franklopez7585 - I can see why you might say that, but it ultimately boils down to several factors to determine which is actually better. Take the US for example, approximately ¾ of everything available on their shelves is classified as 'ultra-processed,' which is just crazy. Sure it may taste nicer but it's killing you. That's the complete opposite compared to England which has some of the best food standards in the world, with a belief that the more natural, the better. Also and unlike most cultures that use insane amounts of salt to give all their dishes flavour despite it being so unhealthy, we have a culture of typically using absolute minimal salt, instead providing salt separately to the person eating so that they can decide themselves how much they would like to use based on their own taste and health factors. So, those not accustomed to our culture might proclaim that the food is 'bland,' completely naive to how much of a detrimental effect their own food is having on their health Compared to many peoples, the English are incredibly welcoming to other cultures and so of course, you're going to see that reflected in the cuisine selection, but that's obviously not British food. One key issue is that whenever one watches or reads reviews of British food, almost every single time they are reviewing extremely sub-par versions. Try those foods done right and it's impossible not to love them. Amongst those with a sophisticated palate, expertly made British food is highly regarded and globally recognised as up there at the top - easily on par with the best food from other countries (proven by the endless awards.) We have many of the best chefs in the world and that isn't by mistake.

I lived in Luton for five years about ten years ago. Saw the rise of the English Defence League there, a police officer was murdered in broad daylight in the town centre and I saw a guy macheted to death in the shopping centre. The place could be so much better but they let the third world in over the last 30 years and there's lots of drug users there too. But besides all the absurdity the people there are actually a lot friendlier than in London and the surrounding areas such as Barton Hills and the Dunstable Downs are beautiful, plus they've upgraded the university and the bus/tram route to the airport. Would never go back though 😅

I just hope it won't have been so much as it's now a lot of stabbing and drug related crimes. The government should do something about the children and teenagers to have more structure in schools and at home also, so they can be raised to be a better man or a better women and don't fall in the hands of the crime.

I even worked at that McDonalds you passed on George Street. Great to see your take on some of the areas I used to hang out in a daily basis. I'm not a Luton Town FC supporter, but I have to be proud of what a club as small as Luton town FC has achieved in actually making it to the Premier league. Always has been! Back in the early 80s, we used to go clubbing at the Tropicana , an things were always hairy to say the least. The Town Center was a total shithole an NOGO estates were the norm. Shout out to the Pink Elephant clubbers back in the day.🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

There is also a fast train to St Pancras in case you need to leave quickly 😅. If you want some nice places, I'd suggest Chelsea, Kensington, Kings Road, Knightsbridge, Oxford, Cambridge. If you want more hoods pretty much most of south and East London.

I was just watching this for interest in seeing another part of the UK when all of a sudden you go to the pub after leaving the train station and I hear you say "I'm from Miami" - WHAT? - I'm Miami born & bred. No wonder you sounded so familiar! It's a blue-sky Sunday afternoon (you posted this 2 weeks ago), 88°F out (weather report says "Feels like 98°"), classic Miami in July. 😎Jeez, now I have to subscribe to your channel and watch the rest of your videos!

I was brought up there and regularly attended Kenilworth Road in the late 60s/70s. It was a great place to be. Car factories, lots of work and a PROPER market where the Arndale monstrosity is now. The shops in George street and the streets off it, were varied and many. The circus used to come into town and the Elephants etc paraded through the town, and walked up Farley hill to Stockwood park. The town centre was lively (occasionally violently so!) at the weekends with pubs all the way From the Clarence next to the Town Hall all the way down to the Blacksmiths in Park Street. A pub crawl and a half, as was High Town. It's sad to see what it has become. Taylors Estate agents is one of the few of the old pieces of architecture left.

Growing up in Luton was great!! 60s 70s !! We t downhill about 1975 when got overrun by foreigners and the English and Irish living there moved out!! Lots to Hertfordshire and London suburbs!! Muslims overran it But still good infrastructure !! The mall is frequented by mainly people who live outside of Luton otherwise that would close and I know what I'm talking about!!

How did you pay £30 for a ricket to Luton? Its expensive, its usualy around £10 from your destination. It is a crap hole and i would be careful next time buting tixkets. Bettwr if using uk trains installing train app. Thats a few pennies cheaper as well.
