Jackeline Flores Ramin was the Phantom for London’s 25th anniversary. Phantom opened in London before it did on Broadway. This video is phantom being celebrated for 25 years on /broadway/ and Hugh was the phantom in New York during this time.

Heidi Lam hugh was quite good 60th anniversary usa and uk join together and can scott Davis be phantom in london hugh in usa excellent phantoms ! sierra boggess usa emmi christen uk my cast obviously people in it now !☺

I think this one is in Broadway which would then be correct because Phantom is the first one that reach 25th anniversary. Les Mis didn't play as long on Broadway.

@@bettywyatt but that was in West End. Les Mis played in Broadway from 1987 to 2003 and Phantom from 1988 to 2023. Les Mis never reached its 25th year on Broadway. This is the 25th celebration for the Broadway production, not the West End production. The West End 25th celebration is the Royal Albert Hall performance in 2011, starring Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess, which is the one we all know because it is published on DVD and have snippets of this around youtube. The Broadway 25th celebration is this one held in 2013 in Majestic Theatre, starring Hugh Panaro and Sierra Boggess, there is no recorded performance of this publicly available.

*Sigh* I'm just glad that I got to watch the Ramin and Sierra era of PTO. They're my favorite match of Phantom and Christine.

I honestly think she is very pretty, but coming from a farm, every time she opens her mouth to sing, it looks like the scoop bucket on my son's excavator! Sorry, my opinion. She is a lovely girl though.

I Thoroughly enjoyed the 25th anniversary performance of Phamton and subsequent performance of Love Never Dies. I have seen Phamton 6 times including the original on Broadway. I must concur with the comment below stating that Sierra was the best Christine, and Ramin best Phamton. It gave me a welcome uplift while I was home bound to avoid COVID 19. So much so that I had to call my cousins, Steph and Ben Kline to tell them. (My cousins know Sierra from the New York City music business}

Peter Jöback always gets less applause than the others. Can't help but feel a bit sorry for him. Ramin tho!! He certainly deserves all that cheer, mnmhm!

How I know Ramin is the best Phantom. His is the only rendition of Music of The Night that gets me teary.

It’s their choice. A show like is very draining, physically and emotionally. So Royal Albert all was 3 performances, Ramin said he would step back into the role, just not now. When the local high school did it, my friends who played raoul, Christine, and Erik were so tired, they couldn’t come to class, the person who played Christine’s sister told me, she said they were so tired and drained, and they had to study, so the teacher gave them a pass thank goodness! But, it’s tiring doing this 8 times a week (6 for Christine’s, they need to rest their voices so the understudies step in)

The dvd with Ramin is the West End 25th anniversary (opened 1986) and this is the Broadway 25th anniversary (opened 1988)

My english teacher played christine in some production of this and she actually looks dead on like sierra in the show. Her hair is naturally that color and curly tho haha

They filmed the 25th anniversary with Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimaloo at Royal Albert Hall. But I don't think they filmed the NYC version with Broadway :(

He was the phantom for the West End (the UK), this is the 25 year anniversary for the Broadway production. I think the West End was made 2 years before Broadway? I'd look it up to be sure lol.

They showed a clip of Christine as a bride in the mirror --- but thats not in the show
