It’s a repeat of old videos

I think it's extremely cool, but why do they need to be human-looking? I feel this could confuse a lot of people and give unnecessary emotional responses. I mean a dishwasher is also a "robot", or car, or the Google search engine uses AI. Or your phone or computer, but they are geared to a more functional form. Making them deliberately more humanoid beyond practical application is just - why?
