One thing I don't think has gotten enough attention is the evolution of Michael Porter Jr. His improvement in rebounding, defense, and play-making have all taken a big leap forward this season. It really makes them a far more dangerous starting five. It used to be if MPJ was struggling with his shot Malone had to take him out because he was a liability in the other areas of the game. Now he could not put up a bucket and he still brings value on the floor.

If you remember the advice MJ gave to Melo about scoring, MJ told Melo about breaking down his scoring by quarter. What he meant by it is PACING. Nuggets let other player score if that player get hot. They dont just rely on Joker or Murray. They let AG, MPJ, And KCP have their own rhythm.

@@HarlemPSGamerLakees should run some kind of motion offense. DLo like most scorers are built on confidence. Get some easy back cuts or transition layups, then their shots start falling. But you stick him at the 3pt line and tell him to catch and shoot, good luck if he misses the first couple. But this stagnant zero motion offense is basically the same system Lebron has run his whole career outside of the last 2 years he played under Spo when he was a post finisher.

I'm not sure if they want to weaken the narrative that star players make or break a team, because for example, let's use DLo, without LeBron on the court, DeAngelo plays a different role, he plays more to what he can do in general, when Bron is on the court, he is relegated to be a 3pt shooter, it worked last game, but not on this game. Things in Denver are totally different, everyone is allowed to get into the game, score, assist, rebound, everyone is allowed to play to their strengths instead of just playing to assist and serve the "stars" so they can gather more stats. The Lakers without LeBron, play way more similar to the way Denver plays ball, the stats get distributed better, more guys score, rebound and assist, but they just won't analyze why DLo is such a on/off player, they want Dlo to score 30 points while LeBron controls the ball, that's not gonna happen.

Too soon😂. I’m still heartbroken over my Warrriors. But like I’ve said many, many, many times before, I’m glad they didn’t make the playoffs. They would have been swept by any of the top 4 teams. It’s okay to not the playoffs though f you’re not ready.

Even the Nuggets stopped playing serious in last few minutes.

Straight up. Murray had a wide open look and just held the ball with almost 2 minutes on the clock. I was in disbelief at that confidence level.

This next game is MONUMENTALLY important for the Lakers. If they don't at least show up and play like their life depends on it, I can see mangement/ownership possibly tinkering with ending the LeBron/AD with moving one or both of them in exchance for trades/draft picks for future.

This feels like the 2019 Series between GSW & Blazers in the WCF. Blazers would jump out to a lead in the 1st Half that you KNEW wouldnt last only for GS to start playing frfr & win, 4-0 Sweep. Like that one, this series was a foregone conclusion💯

Warriors absolutely owned Portland, they knocked them out 3 times during their dynasty run.

Murray is not even having a good fg% yet this series and still balled out. He's clutch though and doing big shots in the 4th so yeah. Nuggets is a dangerous team overall

bet...leblow gonna lowkey blame DLO and everyone else but him and AD for the struggles. this dude never shoulders the blame, but he'll take all the praise when they win. "this made me the greatest of all time..." what a jokester.

Jokers' court mapping and vision are what make this team so dangerous. It's like having a head coach on the floor at all times.

Denver just has no weak link. They’ll take some time to figure out your gameplan every game, but once they do they just take what you’re willing to give up and beat you to death with it.

Same as last playoffs, their team is so balanced. If their stars get slow to heat up, they have gordon or mpj to score for them. Heck even kcp and braun are productive. But for the lakers, man the bench are all either bricks or afraid to take shots and are always looking for bron or AD to score.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but growing up without a father figure is really hard. Im really glad Lebron was able to find his daddy and bronny will be able enjoy some time with grand daddy in no time! ❤
