This year, Joker, Shai, Giannis, Luka are definite... & surprisingly, maybe Sabonis, Check out advanced stats such as Win Shares, WS per 48, Value Over Replacement Player, Efficiency, Box +/- tell the stories of who contributes most on offense & defense overall & per playing time. Zion clearly has that potential, as do others who are not far from that level now.

I have Nuggets in 7. The only reason I think it's going to be competitive is because Mike Malone is not getting offensive production from his bench. There are nights where they have 0 points or something. I don't know why they don't get Braun and Watson involved on offense consistently. They're not just great defenders. They're excellent all-around basketball players and should be given the nod to score and take pressure off Jokic and the starters. Both my mind and gut feeling tells me the Nuggets will eventually lose to the Clippers in 7 later in the playoffs for this reason.

Laker's supporting cast always struggles, so if they put up well offensively and Davis does better against Jokic, it could be a good series. It's hard to be hopeful because of the season series sweep and the series sweep last year. Lakers beat them a few times in regular season last year. That and D'Lo playing well are the only things giving me hope. hahaha

You don't mess with hamstring injuries, especially when the athletes are overweight like Zion. Anyone who has played sports knows that you can't "play through" hamstring issues. One of the biggest causes of that injury is lack of conditioning, which ironically has been Zions issue his entire career. This is why he has always had hamstring issues.

This is the best scenario the Lakers needed to happen. Playing Denver in the first round could turn out to be a hidden gift. The ENTIRE team needs to be focused and play Denver like they played in the in-season tournament. They must have a mindset that this is the championship. AD, Rui, Austin, DeAngelo, Spencer.& LeBron must dominate. No one is going to stop the Joker but everybody else's must be shutdown. With the right mindset, La will win this series in 7. If DeAngelo Russell can maintain that level of play in the Denver series they've got to come up with a couple of wins. Last season he disappeared. The altitude in Denver is a big advantage for the Nuggets.

Funny watching Shaq just sit there quietly while Kenny and Charles were saying that Zion needs to start the season in shape. They said you get in shape in the off season to play basketball. You don’t play basketball during the season in order to get in shape. Charles has a great point about Zion. Can’t be making him tired going 1 on 1 like that. He needs to be off ball with an elite point guard who can make those elite passes between the D. Because Zion can finish anything from any catch at any speed. Also if he comes off the ball you can run off ball screens for him and get his jump shot developed a lot faster and a lot safer.
