Inside The Most Industrial Town in Nigeria

In this video, I take you on a trip to Agbara, a town in southwestern Nigeria known for its industries. Agbara is a popular location for businesses to set up shop because of its access to a major market, proximity to ports, investment-friendly environment, skilled workforce, and low cost of living.
However, despite the abundance of companies, the town has a major downside - terrible roads. Everywhere you go, the roads are unpaved and bumpy. This seems to be a common problem in the state, as Agbara is located in Ogun State, which is known for its poor road conditions.
Next, I head to a place called Riaopic. Based on Google Maps, I thought it would be a recreational center, but it turns out to be a poorly maintained park. I was disappointed that there wasn’t much to do there, and that the park wasn’t being taken care of.
The park is managed by OPIC, a government organization that manages real estate for the state government. It’s a shame that a government property is being neglected. While I was there, I was even hassled by some young men who were watching the small gym center, and I had to leave because I didn’t have any money to give them.
Leaving the park, I saw someone using what looked like cow dung to power his house. This seems like a creative alternative way to generate power, especially for someone who doesn’t have access to other resources.
The last part of the video shows a market that I came across. The market is divided into different sections, like food and meat, but overall, it seemed run down. The only well-maintained part of the market was the actual road.
