I dont think the malaysian government wants to find it. They know that there is an extremely high probability that it was not an accident, and if that is confirmed, they will be subject to lawsuits and payouts.

I don't think this is a good documentary. Most of it is just rehashing old news. How many times do you need to repeat clips and soundbites!? That is done, because they don't have anything new! And need to fill the time allotted for the doco. So it is padded out! If the maritime search Co wants to search again. On a no find - no pay basis. Then let them do it!! I have thought the same thing but I looked into it and they need to be able to turn it off on the ground to reduce the signal clutter. A crowded airport with dozens of transponder signals causes interference.

There’s also a theory that the pilot tried to blackmail Malaysian govt, in order to help his defamed buddy in politics, they called his bluff and he wasnt bluffing, so here we are. The black boxes are very likely useless now, so maybe they can finally humor the families and let the plane be found. Whatever happened, they seemed to drag their feet in order to let the black box info to disintegrate, not a good look, corruption must play a role. I think the manufacturer (Honeywell) gave them max 2 years at those depths, but I might remember what I want.

Apparently it had some executives on board and very precious cargo in the hold. Even 10 years ago, these aircraft had GPS tracking and many more tracking devices on board. Something sinister took place, and the families deserve closure.

Actually many of the “conspiracy theories” don’t involve conspiracy at all. They are simply theories. And many of them are plausible. Especially with respect to the cover up by the Malaysian government and the pilot that seemed to have a focus on ditching and simulated flight plans deviating well off course of a normal route. Very nefarious in totality.

First of all radar etc is not focus on the remote oceans they focus more on land where the action is....boeing had a tracker in the wheels and that's the reason they know the plane went down over the Indian ocean.....people need to stop the conspiracy and look at the facts of the case

Yeah probably not but stranger things have happened. They found remains of a mountain climber who was missing for 40 years and the film in her camera was still good and her photos were developed. Cameras aren't built with 40 years of rain and snow in mind but black boxes are built as tough as possible.

Even if there is no recoverable data from the black boxes, there will be meaningful evidence to draw conclusions. For example if the cockpit-cabin door is found in a locked position with the remains of only one body in the cockpit.

This was ten years ago. One of the victims wife has remarried and has had three children with her new husband since this had happened.

The pilot had the exact same route to the south Indian Ocean on his flight simulator at home. That’s the smoking gun.

It wasn't exactly the same route - he didn't fly towards Vietnam and then turn back suddenly (which would have been the hardest manoeuvre on the whole route). But the (deleted) flight simulator route was surely too close to the final parts of MH370's flight path into the South Indian Ocean to just be a coincidence. Plus he did it a month before the doomed flight. He was jumping it forward in stages on the simulator, rather than sitting through the entire flight (the only route on his hard drive he did this with, which itself is odd). He was testing out the route (maybe just psychologically even), until he ran out of fuel over the ocean...What's more, I believe that during this he tested out gliding with no fuel, then crashing into the ocean, at least twice. And the latest theory from the WSPR radio signal disturbances (a new and promising way of searching for where the aircraft flew) is that he was indeed gliding at the end of the flight. Hence the plane crashed outside what people believed to be the maximum flight zone, and the reason the aircraft still hasn't been found. None of this is definitive evidence it was the pilot, but, given all the evidence, it's very unlikely to be anything else. The transponder was manually switched off, a very difficult turn (only an experienced pilot could do) was performed at just the right point between two different airspaces. The pilot was an examiner and sitting with a single trainee pilot, who would have left the cabin in a heartbeat if told to do so. Sadly, the pilot could also depressurise the entire plane, and survive for many more hours with his oxygen mask, while the passengers would have died after theirs ran out within 20 mins. I believe he could even re-pressurise the plane after for himself. What we don't have is any real motive or insight into his psychological state. No note, no other information. There are some rumours that his marriage was falling apart; that he was pacing rooms while waiting between flights. But these are just rumours, and there is very, very little to go on (at least from what is public). There are also a lot of very warm testimonials from family and friends. He didn't even practice and delete the route repeatedly on his computer. It was just that one time. So all of the above is just a theory, is just alleged, for now and perhaps forever. Given that the black box voice recorders overwrite every 2 hours, unless he was feeling very confessional at the end of the flight, we may never be able to say for sure. But, as Gerard Manley Hopkins wrote, "O the mind, mind has mountains", and just because we don't have a clear motive or reason, it doesn't mean he didn't do it. All of the evidence points that way. Who knows what goes on in someone's head. people can put up an extremely good front. Depression can skew someone's entire perception of the world. It's an appalling tragedy that I have thought a lot about over the last 10 years. Imagine one of your family members going up in the air and then just disappearing. My heart goes out to the families, who still don't have closure. They need to search the WSPR location as soon as possible, surely.

@@OfficalFaz I'm not sure where you heard this info? My understanding is that it is possible to make the turn, although it is at the very limit of the aircraft. They were able to recreate it. (based on the expert pilot and air traffic manager that have been investigating the case using a full Boeing simulator, see "Why Planes Vanish" the new BBC doc)

To me this is a failing of the system , we should know at all times where a plane is, and a comunication system that pilots cant switch of , that gives their GPS postion to a satellite constantly , if we had such a system we would not have to spend millions of dollers, loads of ships, planes and helicopters looking for them, ridiculous.

No. The engine pings performance data periodically, not GPS! The pings were able to be positioned very approximately IE 7th arc.

There is a plane crash investigation team ...the aviation industry does not rest when a plane goes missing...they maybe not have the plane but an investigation is ongoing and they have a fair idea of what may have happen on the plane....they still have some evidence

Has AI been used to analyze the first series of search photos over the Southern Ocean? Human analysis of these airborne & satellite photo images was discounted, but is it worth having another AI "look" at them ?

I still think of these poor people and their families often. My wife and I got married on March 8 2014. We watched so much of this live coverage in our hotel room during our honeymoon, hoping the plane would be found.

1) If it was a security event like a hijack, then based on the fact that the flight couldn’t be found so far, we would have seen more such hijacks. But that didn’t happen. 2) If the pilots did this as part of a bigger terrorist gang, then again we would have seen more such disappearances. But we didn’t see this too. So, my conclusion is, this disappearance is most likely due to one or both pilots being rogue as individuals. Question: Why is the US Government and its federal agencies not involved in this search? There were US Citizens on that flight and the aircraft was made by a US Company. Very strange.

Rip to those all lost on MH370, my condolences goes out to the families of those lost as well 🙏 hopefully the truth comes out so they can have some type of closure or explanation more rather.

The makers of aircraft and long distance transportation need time to improve the security and tracking of these machines at all times. No transportation machines should be able to go dark or invisible.

the ocean is bigger than conspiracy theory think. Either pilot, security issue onboard or catastrophic unforeseen issue happened.

I'm surprised how much emphasis is being put on finding the flight recorder. The pilot/hijacker would have almost certainly popped its fuse at the first opportuntiy to prevent anything about the flight being recorded. Best we can hope for is to get some more circumstantial clues from the rest of the crash debris itself, such as how the plane impacted the water etc

Quite a bit of redundant video in this.

I saw a documentary last year (60 mins Australia?) where a Ham Radio operator was using interrupted transmissions data, that according to him is a phenomenon familiar to all Ham radio operators and it was able to triangulate the position of the aircraft as it moved, to a high degree of accuracy. When he showed the results, I was shocked, because they literally were like laying a template directly on top of the known path of the aircraft. They were spot on! However, I haven't heard a thing about this technique of triangulating the final location of the plane since then. When he presented his data, it seemed nearly a slam dunk that the Malaysian government would quickly mount another search using this technique, but no, nothing.... That's when I realized how strongly they probably want to avoid finding the aircraft. Most people think that they don't want to risk finding the black boxes and discovering that the airlines and/or, the government have huge liability for mistakes that may have been made. It is the assumption of many, that the people who could order another search, might become financially liable for what they find. Honestly however, I really don't know how the legal system works in Malaysia. I'm certain it isn't like the total lunacy of the stupidly high awards in the US. I think they should just totally go all in. Assemble a dream team to help all the other talented people. Bring in people who have a record of winning at finding lost things, especially lost things in the ocean. Bring in Robert Ballard (Titanic), Joe McMoneagle (Awarded the Legion of Merit for Remote Viewing contributions), John Chatterton (Deep Sea Diver discovering the U869 German Sub), etc.

SURE DOES SEEM STRANGE that Ashton was getting traction and all the sudden people are trying to find this plane again.

Satellites do have capacity limits, too. And how about ships that has a higher accident rate than air planes? Trains? Let’s record every conversation of every cars on the road since traffic kills more than crashed planes…. And who’s going to pay for all the transmission and storage of data?

The mistake was spotting the MH370 on the secondary military radar and taking zero action to track it down. The question is, what if the plane has vanished in a parallel universe upon the handshake with Malaysian air space?

Cockpit doors that can be locked completely by one pilot were a bad idea.

If and when a plane hits the surface of the water, is it not expected to disintegrate. I mean isn't that why pieces are being found all over, if so, what are they looking for

Did the MH370 plane crash into the water? Was the plane destroyed? If the plane was destroyed, why wasn't a lot of plane debris found? Why aren't any of the passengers' belongings floating in the ocean? what a very strange incident. I think the plane is hidden.

Because Boeing confimed the serial number on the flaperon as theirs... There a team of plane crash investigators who goes all out when aplane has crash or gone missing...they would definitely know if its not the plane....you cannot plant plane parts and not GWT caught planes are accounted for most of the times...

I'm so fascinated with this plane crash. I've been following since it crashed. First I've heard there was 2 travelers with stolen passports. I was sad that one of the pilots could possibly be to blame. I'm really hoping the plane is found soon and the black box information is still good. I want the families to know where the plane went down. It won't give them the bodies of their loved ones back, but hopefully, knowing where the plane went down, a spot on the ocean will give them some peace.

It is difficult. The Titanic sunk where the captain radioed it's last position when it was already leaking. MH370 had its transponder turned off at IGARI, the true last known position of the aircraft. After that, only blips of radar and INMARSAT logins where recorded. But these didnt reveal the exact position, only that the aircraft was still airborn. Did you hear of the famous "arcs"? These arcs describe the possible location of the jet when the jet did a handshake with satellites. But these are no pin point positions, only a time stamp of a login. The true location is unknown and can only be guessed.

Yes the Malaysian and Australian governments knew from day one what happened. They know the captain crashed the plane and there's no doubt about it.The smoking gun is on the captain's computor.What is not said is that plane at one point went into holding patern mode (flying in a circle) for 22 minutes, which corresponds to some negotiation between the crew and Malaysian officials. The Malaysian govt probably isn't very interested in finding the wreckage and the black boxes because they could prove their involvement and the captain's last words confession in this tragedy. About Diégo Garcia we have to get over with this base has nothing to do and no fighter jets has shot down the plane simply because there are no reasons and moreover the plane flew more than 7 hours until the fuel ran out. The captain's motive(s) may be political, religious, undetected mental illness etc we may never know.However new data comming from ams radios tend to beleive that the next search of MH370 will be successful

I’ve read similar to this before about the 22 mins, but it didn’t cross my mind there may have been some chit chat between ground and pilot, that’s a bloody good point :)

The final resting place will never be found because they simply aren’t there anymore. 10 years? Way too late, it’s washing up into beaches the Lilly hood of finding anything that isn’t just a piece of metal is low

Who would choose to land it there and why? And what did they do there to the passengers and crew?

Has anyone tested the pieces of MH370 found off the coast of Africa organically to see if those pieces were planted so that someone could find them? Each piece should be tested to see if they actually were in the ocean and not planted there to be found. What if the plane circled to open the cargo doors and unload secret cargo and then when the plane went down the debris was collected over the week or so before they realized that the plane flew south. That would give plenty of time for a group to collect all signs of debris and then keep specific pieces submerged in salt water with other organics to make it look like those pieces had in fact been out at sea but actually could have been staged. Then why haven't they found any other pieces or a large debris field?

I don't believe the black box will be of any use at all to be honest, if the cause of this incident was the pilot and he had enough knowledge of how to hide the plane as well as he did it would have been very easy for him to disable the black box and he most likely did.

The final moments of what happened to MH 370 will not be known until this aircraft is found. The search needs to continue. Trying to find a triple 7 aircraft,In the Vast Indian Ocean , is no easy task. The delay in 2014, to search for the mh370 aircraft, really hurt the search teams. Pinger only good for 30 days. The search could be off by 1,000 miles in any direction. Malaysia needs to get this search resumed. They need to find this aircraft. Search technology has changed. There are more vehicles to explore the oceans deep. It’s unfortunate for the families of MH 370. They want closure. The Malaysian Govt. needs to apologize to the families of MH 370, in delaying in 2014. The search was delayed in 2014. The longer the search continues, the more the data will be not retrievable from this air craft. It’s been 10 years now. There may not be any data left on MH370. This means no one will ever know. Here it is May, 2024. We are still at this. We need to lay this to rest.

Sadly. The pilot or pilots crashed it in the ocean. Flapperon was found floating in the ocean,had the part number marked on it confirming that the plane is in the ocean. Problem. Is that ocean feom east to west is uncharted sea. Thats where it is,too bad its too massive of ocean it would take 50 years of seerching to find it.

With ocean infinity prepared to search for free if they dont find it all eyes are on Malaysian government.I am interested in knowing how much they would ask for incase they find it.

They could have found it if Malaysia didn’t stall and withhold informations the Australian navy could have found it. The us navy knows where it is.

I still think it’s cargo of Lithium ion batteries caused the plane problems as they over heated then they exploded .There’s decent news and old ignored infix an Aussie fisherman got a wing caught in his fishing nets but had to be cut free. Also a radio expert has found what he thinks is the flight path.I hope the Aussies just check it out.God bless all effected . 🙏

Such a cop out lazy answer. You really just can't lose a plane yet alone a freaking Boeing 777 with over 200 passengers without a trace. Once you dig a bit as to who were on board that plane, (semi conductor employees) and suspicious cargo of several tons of lithium ion batteries, it leads to the theory of it being INTENTIONAL and not just an accident. Doesn't really require much critical thinking to put pieces together either. But people tend to be mouth fed information nowadays and take it as absolute fact.
