I'm new to the game, been playing for 2 months now. I am very impressed how all four classes play completely different from each other.

@@greyfalconow9467 Engie with RJ250 max ammo, and the new Lok-1 rifle spected for range and lockon speed, you can play the role of scout for mineral gathering and some lighting with extended throw range as a passive... maybe dash for even more range per jump.

@@theoreminegaming I mean my main loadout with engi is RJ250 and Stubby. But so far Lok1 is just so ammo inefficient, that I can't see running it with a low damage grenade launcher. You are almost required to pair it with the Breach Cutter

@@greyfalconow9467 I say Lok-1 because it has the best range of his primaries (except maybe magnetic alignment + accuracy upgrade... but thats inefficient as heck).

That Menace was the real boss of this mission.

As usual from an Axiskronos content. Frenetic, precise, high level gameplay with casual easy going dialogue. The lo-fi was missing though. =) Glad to have you back sir.

I once was a few minutes into a mission with 3 other people when like 10 mactara tri-jaws spawned right in front of me outta thin air, took most of em’ out before the bizarre amount of projectiles hitting me in the face downed me, my team revived me after killing the few remaining. That was one of my most bizarre encounters in this game, because that was anarchy.

Just started playing this game and told all my friends about it a week ago and I’ve been binging your videos. Glad to see there will be new videos!

Xbox or PC?

I see the gunner as a team support role. I see it as my job to keep my coworkers alive and revived. As well as thinning out the the swarms and focus fire on the big guys. I use the shield boost perk on my teammates alot. Feels good to drop shield and instant revive a guy then give him a shield boost as we run for the pod!

As scout its my job to help the team see locations of cave leaches, and assist the team with cardio as they run to my dead body to revive.

Hey Axis, new subscriber here. Recently got into DRG (with the steam sale last week) and I've been enoying the hell out of it! Your guides (and HippieDev's) have been a nice way to ease myself into the game, gain knowledge, tips and tricks, and building a mindset on how to play the different classes. Working on my scout atm, as I love the mobility, and the ability to save teammates while flaring the cave and zipping around. Looking forward to more of your videos, I love the work you put into it (ideas, recording, editing); good stuff, I hope you keep it up! Rock and Stone brother!

@@Alex-xk1cl suppose it just comes with experience, i like that theyre not too clearly cut though and you can kind of play them all any way but specialise at certain things, obviously on haz 4-5 and dds/edds you need to know how to play them but if you’re doing those difficulties and the dds you should know by then anyway, it’s well paced discovery imo

I tried carpet bomber and I always missed the direct damage. When you aren't messing with neurotoxin for across the cave CC and grunt death in multiplayer, big bertha is one of the best feeling OCs to use

For inside the mind of gunner, I think it makes more sense in multiplayer, with how you use shields and watching teammates to use one on them. And how to cover teammates Also, love the vids of you just playing and interacting with chat, just as much as other stuff, it's chill and easy

Greenbeard here, I got Neurotoxin overclock as my first overclock, then Elephant rounds for the revolver. I hardly play anything else. Everything else feels so... useless.

Glyphid Queen talking to the glyphid menace as it goes down: Snake are you ok? Snake? SNAAAAKE! Also dash is a must on gunner. Only classes that don’t need it are driller and engineer.

Compared to the driller video, this one is way more clearer which is great.

There was a time where my brt7 glitched and it did 3x damage more than it should've and i had a blast with it

A little confused on how to move fast on a Zipline, unless it's a perk I need to unlock? Just got the game recently, free with ps plus this month. But I ran out of plus soon after getting the game, barely got to play with friends on my first dig after the tutorial and it ended the day after which sucks. Would have to wait to get more plus some time, idk when, in order to keep playing. I'm only account level 2 and all my classes are still level 1. Not sure what to main, so far thinking gunner so I can survive with my scatterbrained wanderlust ass 😂. Because I got it free with plus I can't play solo unless I either get more plus or buy the game, which I kinda want to save for Elden Ring coming out next month. I've always been a Souls fan since the original Dark Souls 1, praise the sun! Hopefully can get more plus soon cause Deep Rock Galactic does look more interesting than I gave it credit for. Probably doesn't help that the game trailer in the ps store doesn't do the game justice. As far as how I am in a new game or at least new to me cause I haven't played it before, I'm always taking my sweet ass time. Casual conversation is fine, but I need people to keep tabs on me so I don't end up a mile away from everyone. I also really like using pickaxes to dig in games for some reason, I probably find the noise soothing
