More like promotion! She make this sketch work well. But it wouldn't have worked unless it was embarrassing at the time. You couldn't get the same brilliant result if you intended this result or tried to script it. It turned a mid-show sketch into something worthy of a cold open. You have a 5 second transition for a couple of dozen people to do a couple of dozen things on a live broadcast. Once every million times even with the most talented cast, crew and producers, something will go wrong. It just brilliant than on SNL when that happens it is the most fun and the most rewarding for the audience. We all (well most I guess) prefer the SNL that pushes the boundaries with logistically insane ideas and sometimes makes a mistake (and is able to laugh at itself) than a more "safe" version that is more risk-adverse and thus less fun.

@@simonallison1457 For sure. I'm from England so we don't really do SNL but I've been into it thanks to KZread and more often than not the sketches that stand out for me are the ones with corpses and mistakes that just make it 100% funnier. Doubt I'd be thinking about any of them as much if they were error-free. And Cecily was breaking too, that is very rare.

My theory on what happened: Camera was on Kenan instead of Woody, and to do damage control, they switched to a 4-shot which means that the costume change was visible, where the MCU of Woody was supposed to conceal it. Since the entire cast can see a monitor of what's happening, they all knew the skit was shot and lost it.

@@VintageRose75 Dirty Donnie Trump's known kill count started in 1989 with Stephen F. Hyde, Mark G. Etess, and Jonathan Benanav. Since then it's been a stream of deaths all of whom were people with information on Dirty Donnie. His connections to the Russian Mob are WELL KNOWN, as he used his casinos to launder money for them (which is part of the reason for their bankruptcy) and help them establish in the USA in Atlantic City. So you have no idea what's really going on.... you're just sucking up the propaganda from Mendacious Rupert Murdoch who is part of the "destroy the USA" conspiracy along with Vicious Vladimir Putin and Dirty Donny Trump.

SNL is live at 11:30 pm in the eastern time zone, which means it's also live at 10:30 pm in the central time zone. But I don't know what happens farther west. Do they have a delayed broadcast of the "live" show for the mountain and pacific times zones--and what about Alaska and Hawaii? It can't be "live" across the whole US unless they do the same show several times a night.
