That was what I wanted too but it was too sketchy how after literal years Joe wouldn't embrace Taylor as the worldwide superstar that she is. Not to say that he needs to be like Ryan Gosling who always praises Blake and talks as a man who is clearly living a shared life with her, but if he was full in into the relationship he would've at least one in a while said something nice about her and attend events with her. But he always acted as she didn't almost exist in his life, to a hiding a sidechick level. To the point where you can't almost find pictures of them together after literal years together.

​@@somber087 Joe is way more than introverted. He was make Taylor a repressed version of who she is. One can understand that they won't talk about their relationship but this was a whole other level. He never acknowledged her in any way in 6 full years, never even attended events with her to the point where it's difficult to find any pictures of them together. Taylor had to repress and inhibit herself to cater to him and he was never fully committed to her. This is not a man who feels who feels so lucky to have found the love of his life that he would do anything for her, he never embraced Taylor in all her splendor after all she did to cater to him. He hasn't appreciated her, there's so much greediness in that, that's not an open heart nor a man who loves a woman. That's a selfish man with one foot out of the relationship and who won't adjust for her. It's the opposite of the attitude Ryan Reynolds has always had with Blake, a man in love and grateful to her.

But all this years he never embraced Taylor in all her splendor, he has kept his relationship hidden to extremes up to the point of what some dude would do with a side chick. Look at how Ryan Reynolds talks about Blake. He is open, he is grateful for having her, he doesn't hide her. Imagine having that so close to you, and then you have Joe. Speaking from someone in a 6 almost 7yr relationship: sometimes the person you fell in love with changes. My fiancé changed so much it’s scary. Not one part of him (aside from the love he gives our 2yr old daughter) is anything like the man I was in love with all those years before. It’s heartbreaking but all you can do is walk away from a situation that no longer serves you or makes you better. The gaslighting, manipulation & toxicity replaces the good moments/memories & those good memories become not worth the heartache it causes to stay. Time heals most but in this type of situation- time only hurts more and more.

If appreciated her he would've changed his attitude and marry her already. Her career & fame must be completely consuming and disruptive. They live on different continents. His career seems to be picking up. Her tour looks completely exhausting. I hope they can revisit later. Shes got an unquestionable drive. Thats probably hard when he just wants some quiet attention. I DID kind of wonder sometimes if maybe she hired him to revamp her serial dater image.

Maybe she misses writing break up songs... like seriously? 🙄
