Throughout the Soviet bloc countries they made a point of building new construction outside of the historic city centres in order to preserve the old buildings and churches.
Let this beauty and peace overwhelm the entire treasure that is Russia.

I am not very religious. But the architecture and the tranquility of it all is something I admire. I really like the display of figures and tales strewn all over the walls, colorful all over.
