Some of central Asia countries are quite confusing for me, in a sense of even though their GDP are not high yet they manage to maintain remarkably modern, well organized and clean cities.

GDP doesn't represent real capability of purchasing power of citizens in these countries because corruption is widespread. Actually, They are far more richer that on the paper.

We have a very large shadow economy. Real incomes of the population are much higher than what GDP per capita reflects. Simply because people here don't like taxes. Taxes here are high.

Uzbekistan was closed off to the world for so long but the leaders invested heavily in import substitution in countless sectors. That's why uz is so industrialized and so many State owned enterprises are privatising...also55% of GDP comes from SMEs. UZ is ridiculously developed for a "2000 USD GDP per capita"
This is actually some of the best content of Uzbekistan out there. Down to earth, just showing stuff in a nice pace in a chill manner. Im from Denmark and wanted more info about Uzbekistan for a future vacation, and this content was the best in my opinion.

eastern Turkestan is in china, Uzbekistan is central Turkistan or you just can say Turkistan and Pan-Turkism was also invented in Uzbekistan, or more precisely in the Turkestan General Governorate, but it’s a pity that many Uzbeks don’t even know that they are Turks
