    Maria is a beautiful, well spoken classy sports lady who probably was never the best athlete in her profession but her work ethic and determination from seven years old to the 32 year old business woman you see here is unmatched. Her success and the fact that she's white is too much for some to bare but a great role model she is. Get your daughter a copy of her book *Unstoppable* quite a story.

    Her boyfriend works in art auctions: Alexander Gilkes, actually the biggest in this area. And she collects art also. You can see in her social media a lot of visit to the museums and of course, buying art pieces.

    Wow I usually have a hard time liking any of those very big houses, I really enjoy a more compact approach, but this house in particular is very very beautiful. Everything blends well together, it's elegant yet cozy. A house of great taste and personality. Only thing I personally don't enjoy are the arts, but that's a detail.

    I love the way she described her home. She spoke like an actual designer. She did focused on the Architectural & Interior Design aspects of it which is what this channel is all about. Unlike other celebrities who tend to just boast about the property. The bowling alley knocked me out the park! And btw, I love this home! One of the best I’ve seen here. And she seemed like a very calm, reserved & classy lady.

    i can tell she's Rssian even w/o the accent , by how she speaks. Russians don't open their mouths a lot when they speak it's called having a 'narrow pallet' she still has that. native English speakers open their mouths a lot more & wider when they speak.

    Honestly this house was by far one of the best ever shown throughout this 'series'. The style and the great personality to match, marry perfectly. This video was a great one and Maria Sharapova commentated so well and i could listen to a podcast series of just Maria explaining the details of houses. So in conclusion 10/10 video, loved it.

    Those of us who comprehend at least some Russian, can hear her accent. As someone in another comment explained...she opens her mouth less than us native English speakers & there other mannerisms that are hard to explain to people who don’t know any Russian. Look up interviews with Regina Spektor and maybe you might catch onto what I’m trying to say..

    She was 14 years old when she turned professional. Maybe she was a "normal" person and did not go "Capriati." You can only imagine the $$$ that was sent back "home." There had to be concessions made to someone in order to get out. There was and still is corruption in Russia.

    Her home gives away much of her personality. A lot of monastic elements which leads me to believe she is a very deep thinker and loves her solitude. The overall design is neither Masculine or Feminine. The mono-tone feature let's the individual be the color and the home the canvas. A constantly evolving art.

    Do you think? I can't see any evidence that someone lives there. Nothing hung on the wall. No bookcase. Nothing personal. Not homely just set up by a designer. The 10 other rooms would need to be seen as she just points to props and recites a story.

    I find it interesting how she has made an effort to connect people. All her furniture and the colours and textures focus on bringing people together, having them interact in comfort and companionship. The bowling alley is the ultimate proof that she wants her house to be more than just a minimalist showroom house but more like a place where people come together to connect.
