The story of Lucy is one of those that fascinate people. It was such a long and winding road that led her to legendary fame. Still to this day, when I watch "I Love Lucy", I laugh just as much as the first time I saw them. She was determined for the show to be great, and she definitely achieved that.

Oh absolutely. The show never gets old even though my family and I know the dialog word for word. We even say the lines with them and crack up over and over again. We will always love Lucy.
Lucky YOU BILL , and thanks for keeping the house "LUCY"
The right people got the house. Thanks for sharing and not redoing anything. It is perfectly lovely as it is.
There will never be another Woman like Lucy - she touched the hearts of so many people- my son is 34 now and when he was a kid he would lay in bed at night watching Lucy and just laugh- it just Blessed our hearts - I’m 67 now and I watched I Love Lucy growing up - God Blessed her with talent so she could Bless other people- 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for sharing. I remember when she passed away I was at work and I started crying when we heard it on the radio. Lucy was like part of everyone life. very much missed young lady!
The house is full of memories of Lucy and her family. I wish I could sit in Lucy's room, look out of the window and imagine what Lucy was thinking as little girl. Happy Birthday Lucy! 😘

She is definitely one of my favorites
So nice this couple took the time to give the house a vintage look. They were very kind to let us all see Lucy’s home. Her family must be pleased with how the house has been cared for.
I've never seen this before . I love this video of Lucille Ball's childhood home .

Lovely house ... I can imagine it all. She was really beautiful strong person. Love the house furnishings. It seems she had a nice life.
I live in Jamestown. Its pretty neat growing up and living in a town that a very famous actress grew up in. Lucy is all over our town! 😊

Jamestown is a real dump
A very charming house. I'm sure it's built better than 90% of what they're building these days. It looks like it's in immaculate condition. Kudos to those who maintained it.
What interesting things people do like restoring Lucy's home. Good on him. Making so many people happy
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. How lucky you are! I love Lucy!
I LIVE VERY CLOSE TO HERE CHILDHOOD HOUSE
That house and all it's furnishings, right down to the wallpaper, are beautiful! That's exactly my style! I love everything that is old! ♥
Thank you for sharing! She deffently was in every childs life growing up. RIP
I grew up in a house that looked very much like Lucy's family home.... same dark wood moldings and archway staircase railings and bathtub... these are beautiful homes that were built in the early 20th century. Mine was built in 1910. Looking at this not only made me nostalgic for Lucy but also for my childhood home
I drove to Jamestown, NY, one summer about four years ago. Saw the banners for the comedy festival. Had no idea to even seek out her childhood home. This is cool!
AND WE STILL LOVE LUCY❤
Would have loved to have met her, wonderful lady an actress
My family and I just drove by her house today. The barn was neat. Its so cool to see where the queen of comedy once lived
Very cute video! You did a great thing for all the millions of Lucy fans world-wide! - But Lucy and Cleo! - that bedroom was so small and having to share that bed! whewie!
this is so cool. Thank you Bill, for keeping/restoring the house and thank you for sharing!
That photo @0:57 looks like the living room in that I Love Lucy episode when they visited Ethel's home town.

My grandfather was born in Celeron Ny , he was good childhood friends with Lucille Ball, There used to be a very large Ferris wheel out on the Lake it was an amusement park a very big one during this period of time my grandfather's name was Charles Allen Gardiner and he used to kind of deal Lucille when they were younger kids, As generations went on unfortunately my grandfather died when my father was just 16 years old, He add his tonsils removed and unfortunately bled to death, Grandmother remained on Smith Avenue located in Celeron Ny, And my grandmother was actually Pennsylvania Dutch from Brookville Pennsylvania I am not certain how my grandmother ended up meeting my grandfather I never did hear the story about this as my father went to Vietnam, And when he came back he started drinking very heavily and my mother and father got divorced when I was youngster, But of course I would go spend the weekend and Celron Ny, My grandmother worked at a place called Chautauqua hardware, I am not sure where she was working when she was married to my grandfather, I know that my grandfather his father was the magistrate judge in Celeron Ny, And I know that my grandfather was good friends with Lucille Ball until his death in his early thirties by this time Lucile had moved away and already became famous, From what my grandmother said she was jealous of Lucille because of the crush my grandfather had on her when they were young, I had the opportunity to by Lucille Ball's home when it went on the market I believe they were asking somewhere in the mid thirtys for the house, Apparently somebody bought it and turned it into a museum and sold it for quite a bit of money on eBay from what I heard if anyone has any pictures of Lucille and my grandfather please let me know

The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel's dock that sticks out onto the water is the same platform that the carousel was on. There's a picture of it in the hotel, which is on the grounds of the former Celoron Amusement Park. I've been there and have stayed there. beautiful hotel.
We were there last fall , thank you for showing us around . It’s wonderful what you have done with Lucy’s house . Thank you again .
What a wonderful video! Thank you for sharing. My own mother was such a huge fan of Lucy. Some wonderful memories. 🍃💚🍃
Lucy and her family lived in Wyandotte , Michigan when she was an infant. Her father died when she was four and her mother moved back to New York. Unfortunately, I believe the Michigan home the Ball family lived in was torn down.
The actual location of this house is celeron ny behind the old elementary school that is now a office building and btw I live in the Jamestown area

I live in the Buffalo area, about 70 miles away from this house. I've stayed at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, which is on the grounds of the now-gone Celoron Amusement Park, just a couple of blocks from the house. The hotel features a lot of Lucy in it, in pictures, etc., and even has a drink named after her.
Thank you for sharing & for being so loving to Lucy's home.
I am here in this area of New York State for work right now, from Southern California, and before I drove by this house in the last hour, I went to the Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz museum, downtown nearby Jamestown. I think I saw a lot of items on display with the Rapaport name affixed to the description, as to where the item came from. Coincidence.... I think not. :)
So enjoyed this! I LOVE LUCY!
THANK you so very much for sharing these very special memories :) xx NSW Australia
Thank you. My dear wife, Dee, looks and sometimes acts like Lucy so I put a refrigerator magnet on the door that depicts Lucy doing the vita-vita-vegimin commercial. Lucille Ball was such a talent and when her name comes up, her memory instantly invokes smiles of appreciation. May God Bless her.
so happy they tried very hard to keep the house or restore it be like Lucy[s as she grew up. My Mom knew Lucy and often saw er at Celeron Park.
Thank you for doing this video; we drove by the house about 10 years ago and hope you will have an open house around Lucy's Birthday on August 6th.
Thank You So Much for this Exclusive House Tour of Lucille Ball's childhood home! Appreciate it very much! Stay Safe & Stay Grateful! 🌷🌿🌍
FANTASTIC!!!! Wow! :) THANK you so much for sharing this!

This is amazing.
You're lucky to own that house, Bill. Good people used to live there.
I had a pleasure of taking care of a elderly lady that lived there when I done home health job.

Lucy's spirit is alive and well in that house 👻

Very nicely done..
Thank you for sharing; we visited Jamestown years ago but were told viewing the house was not possible. I know fans would love to walk through it; you may consider a tour annually the week of Lucys birthday in August. Also, have you felt Lucy's spirit in this house?

you can drive by the house and take a picture. The house is not marked as Lucy's, although it's on "Lucy Lane" - you'll be able to tell, as it has a polka-dot garage.
How lucky you are I would have loved to have met her!

Her house is just how I imagined it!!
TX. MY" FAVORITE LADY GIRL"! LOVE YOU " LUCIE'"""! MONA"!
sad i was there before the covid 19 outbreak and the owner wasnt in town and nobody diong tours inside and u cant even go on there proity its no trassapasing signs with a video cam so u cant even walk around the house and there no way to shuled a apt this been giong on for almost 10 years there only a few people get to go inside the house n cozitv is one of them
You know what bothers me the most when a celebrity is famous they managed to keep the house up and the furniture that goes with it it's amazing how this house for this long stood up that long and still in good shape Barbra Streisand lives in Brooklyn and she was born in a private house in Brooklyn New York that house is not even there anymore and neither is the furniture
Like house
What year was the house built?
Do you live in the house? I thought it was now a museum?
Why is there a blow up doll on the back porch??! (At the very end)
Jamestown N.Y. state. Did not address that in the video.
lmagine owning that house. Your financial situation would be set for life. You could open a museum and build your own house adjacent to the museum.
What state is this?

This is the house where the shooting took place right? A neighbor boy was accidentally shot and the family was sued and they lost everything in this house
I grew up in a house like this only not as nice
Do these people live here because the house is staged as a museum.
N0 body like Lucy miss ya
Does it cost anything to go in Lucille Ball's home
Interesting, considering her royal background. 36th great- grandfather was Charlemagne. They only put their people in high positions: hollywood, politics, corp. Owners, high ranking military. Just saying.....
How much do you want the house for 😜
