Loved her since I first saw her as a child having migrated from Colombia in 1969 at age 12. And now, in 2023 at 66 yrs old, I find this. What a jewel and emotional video...

She was definitely one of a kind.. and opened so many doors for other woman.. Thanks for commenting and watching :)
My sister and her friend and I went to Jamestown just before Lovely Lucy Statue was created and Lucy's childhood home was renovated; at that time the owner didn't want any fans on the property and I thought how can anyone not appreciate living in a house where the wonderful Lucy lived in; so very happy the new owners are such a passionate Lucy fan!

I’ve been to a few famous houses where the owners don’t want fans coming there.. I mean if you buy the Goonies house you’d have to know there’s a good chance fans are gonna stop by to see it daily lol.. But yes Mary is fantastic and she gives back so much to the area.. One of the best days of my life..
She is very dedicated to preserving Lucy’s history! Great job! She is so invested and Lucy deserves it.

Thank you for that nostolgic tour, and for sharing your love for "Lucy" & Desi, Ethel & Fred shows viewed weekly by millions. You are so kind to show her Hollywood, CA and Jamestown, Childhood NY home(s) to us. The "Lucy" Chocolate Factory Doll was very cute. 😊 😅

@@bornahoney Glad you enjoyed it.. I definitely enjoyed meeting the people of Jamestown and seeing the history of Lucy Thanks for watching :)
I grew up in nearby Bradford, PA and I am intimately familiar with those old houses that were built in the early 1900s. They were unbelievably cold during the Winter months. One morning I woke up to see frost covering my upstairs bedroom wall. Those old red bricks on the roadway are most likely from Hanley Bricks of Bradford, PA.

I sure do love the look of those neighborhoods even though the functionality might not be perfect.. Reminds me of simpler times.. Thanks for watching and sharing your story :)
I have to say she effected me more then any other actor or comedian in my life and I lived in California when she died and I taped all the marathon that they showed for days and days afterwards. I will always miss her

Agreed 💯 Mary who owns the house now definitely made this chapter about Lucy… 1,000 times better..
Nicely done. I grew up in Celoron on Chadakoin St. and walked and or rode my bike past Lucy's house many times going to the nearby school not eve knowing who used to live there. It was hard to believe that the person entertaining us on tv could be from our little town. Thank you for caring and sharing.

Lucy is so Iconic.. I felt so lucky going through the town she grew up.. Thanks for watching and for the kind words.. :)
Ahhh, memories…. The house on the corner behind Celeron school was owned by my Grandmother and where my mother spent her teenage years. I would occasionally spend the night at Grandmas…. Her sister, my great aunt, was Bernice Faulkener, who lived in Lucy’s childhood home. Lloyd was my mother’s cousin. I’ve been in the house several times. My aunt had a distinct smell to her, that build the whole house. So looking at the house brings back that memory….

12:39- I wonder if those vintage light fixtures might have been originally for gas lighting then got adapted to electric light bulbs? I know gas lighting was likely gone by the time Lucy herself was born but it had been popular for the last few decades of the late 19th century in many urban homes (and was more convenient than oil lamps or candles) -and this home appeared to have been originally built then!

Ring in the barbecue was cute, but it was NEVER in the barbecue. It got mixed into the hamburger meat and Lucy literally bit into it. Sorry, I'm a stickler for what really happened.
Probably a .22 Caliber Rifle since there is only a 20 gauge or 28 gauge shotgun which would have destroyed a kid at close range. The other gauge shotguns are 10, 12, 16, and .410
I know for a fact not all of her ashes are buried there only a small portion is! And I have that on very great authority! 😎
What are the black and white pictures from
a .22 is not a bb gun
Shoot squirrels? Not Lucy! 😮😂
The interviewer always interrupt with "hemp, huh". Very annoying.
Just listened to Cleo Smith interview and she told the story of the shooting and stated Lucy was never there. At 19:00 kzread.info/dash/bejne/g5x4qrVrqZifhNY.html
THATS LUCYS REAL CHILDHOOD HOME,???????????????????????????YOU HAVE TO PROVE THAT TO ME WITH DOCUMENTS TO BACK THIS UP,ANY ONE CAN SAY ANYTHING,AND DRESS IT UP A BIT,WINDOWDRESSING,NOTHING MORE.
no that first statue is atrotious
