I've never NOT enjoyed seeing Wayne Knight on screen. He is always so good.

1:00 Wayne Knight was a fan of the show back in the early seasons? That's pretty impressive dedication. . I bet he had no idea how central and crucial his character would be to making Seinfeld the great eclectic sitcom that it is today. I mean, could you imagine Seinfeld without Newman? . Much love to an often under-appreciated actor, Wayne Knight :)

Seinfeld found so many gems in its recurring cast, and Wayne Knight was one of them.

Wayne Knight is a Broadway guy seen him in a number of roles in the theater and he was always excellent

During. Newman's first appearance was this episode, which originally aired on January 29, 1992. JP was filmed over the summer of 92 and was released in June of 93.

@psspeed Syndication is when the series gets picked up to be played in reruns on other stations. They have an opportunity to re-edit some of the material at that point and Larry David wanted to re-record Newman's voice for continuity.

DUDE!! Newman looks AWESOME at that weight; bravo, sir!!

The last few seconds were Knight's re-dub??? Didn't sound like him.

It's awesome to see that Wayne looks alot healthier!.

Unless Seinfeld gets together for a reunion special, Newman will always be known as that plump, well-fed mailman we know and love.

Damn I still watch Seinfeld everyday. The only show I can watch in prime time now is The Office which I love but Seinfeld will always be the best....... Can't believe it has been off air like 12 years already.

I just want to write that my name is Josh and i want to write that Seinfeld is my favorite half hour sitcom. reruns of Seinfeld came to the Comedy Central channel in October 2021.

and a lot more that i miss a whole lot and wish the TV network did not end them i can not picture how tv will be like when i am 30 or 40 i am only 21 and thank god i got to experience those great shows i mentioned...same with movies that i now do not even look forward going to a movie theatre every weekend I wonder when TV will come back and the saturday cartoons withcpncrnch

Syndication is when the show gets distributed to other networks, usually for re-runs

@psspeed plus also the creators of the show get very rich, the sydnication deal was 1.7 billion dollars, larry got 250 million up front and will gte the rest over time, ive no idea what jerry gets from the deal ricky gervais is reportedly to make a billion dollars from the office trough sydication and new verions of the show in other countries by 2015

agreed.....I always thought Newman should have been a 5th main character, I actually liked him and his scenes and story lines much better than Elaine.....I realize they needed a female but think about Newman in the Farmers daughter episode, the banker, the bike, the Newmanium.....
